I was hoping to get a haircutt soon that looks kinda like these:

Anyone know what the REAL name of the hairstyle is called? So I know what to ask my hairdresser to do.
You know , the kind of hair that is longer on one side of the front, and kinda shorter at the back?
Thank you. I appreciate you're help.

i think it a symetric bob hair cut, my lil sis got that haircyt for her 18th recently. she took a pic with her to the saloon. so u could try that oh and make sure the domt cut to much from ur front cuz they could get carried away with the cutting, be very picky and say when they are doing the wrong thing.

good luck.

Technically, it would be called a layered, razor-cut bob, but if you go to your hairstylist and bring one of those pics with you, she'll be able to figure it out. If she's a sort of trendy stylist who works with younger people a lot, just say you want a sort of emo haircut, and she'll get it.

Why don't you print those two pictures that are on the links you gave us,and show them to your hairdresser?
Maybe your hairdresser will know the name of the hairstyle.

You want a short, asymetical bob w/ chunky layers but the best thing to do is to bring the pictures w/ you.

I agree with Jen. Simply print the pages you showed us and take them with you to your hair cutter. He/she should be able to do the same cut. Good luck.

Show your stylist some pictures and be extremely picky!

i could describe it as an prolonged architectural hair type that looks rocker or punk that has precisely what you stated: "short uneven layers on suitable and long layers on the backside."
