The name is irrelevant. When there is peace on earth for all mankind, we will recognize the human messiah that brought it about with God's help. He will not bring "salvation" as that has been available to us from the beginning.

He's just "The Messiah", and does not have a name like Jesus Christ, the Christian messiah. The reason why is that Christians believe Jesus was the messiah, but Jews believe the messiah has yet to appear. It's the main difference in the Jewish and Christian faiths.

In Judaism, the messiah hasn't arrived yet. However, the more secular branches (i.e. conservative, reform) have de-emphasized the belief of a coming of a messiah, which is a good thing, since the whole concept of it is absurd.
