I have a 1984 dodge w150 pickup. What is the correct front axle for this truck? Gear ratio?

The truck has a dana 30 fulltime 4-wheel drive. I believe it should be a dana 44. I'm just not sure of the gear ratio.

I'd guess 3.55, but you should get under the front diff and look for a little stamped tag, the ratio should be on there but it will probably be oily and hard to read without a little cleaning.

Could be 3.23, 3.55. 3.9. Look at the tag on the differential, or if it is missing look on the rear differential, and match that.
