Actually you would want to take Ibprofen instead of Tylenol, since Ibprofen is an inflammatory and will help the swelling from the tooth pushing through your gums. And beware these little buggers like to come up a little, stop for a week or even a month, then start up all over again! I have been getting my bottom left wisdom tooth for almost 6 months and you can just see the top of it! Good luck!

Good old Ambesol or Orajel. Also sucking on ice is good to numb the area. You could try Hylands teething tablets they use for infants that are getting in teeth. It is basically the same pain. Also using a little Motrin at night or Tylenol. Be sure to drink lots of water if you take Motrin because it is hard on the kidneys. If it gets too bad ask your dentist or doctor about some stronger pain meds to get you thru. I hope it breaks thru soon and you feel better.
