ok well I am currently trying to find some kids to baby sit, and this man said he needed me to watch his son in june. He said he was a maneger for a model, and that his company was going to pay me in advance. Well I gave him my adress, so he could bring his son by, and so I could get paid. He called me and he seemed a bit strange. Not to be rude, but I got a bad vibe. I had to send him a copy of my Id so he could see who he was leaving his child with. And he said my pic was georgous. and that was a little weird for me. Plus it was abad photo. Im just scared he doesnt really need a sitter, and why would his company pay me almost 2 months before I started to watch the kid. I searched the web and couldnt find any info on the man, or the model he worked for.... I am just wondering should i be worried, should i be scared.

The first thing I would do is contact local law enforcement to see if there is a scam involved. See if someone can check his name and explain what type of personal information you gave him. Did it have your Social Security Number on it. If so you could become a victim of identity theft, burglary or worse. See if someone can help and maybe can at least tell you if he has a criminal history. If they cannot find anything on him at least get a report done so that if something does happen you will have one on file to fall back on in case of identity theft or burglary.

Yes. Trust your instinct and be very careful of being alone with this guy. You may want to ask if he doesn't mind meeting your parents. I would try to find kids to keep from networking through some people you know rather than running a newspaper ad. Be careful and err to the side of caution.

You should be scared. Go with your gut on this one. Doesn't quite seem kosher.

Now that this individual has ALL your pertinent information, you should be thinking of security measures you should take to protect your self. This is something I would start immediately.

You did not say how old you are but I would advise you to let your parents in on what's up too. One can't be too careful these days. How is it that you got hooked up with this dude in the first place? Ever had a face to face?

GO WITH YOUR GUTT!!!!! and protect yourself.

Tell Your parents, the police this guy seems like a predator, a molester, or a rapist getting his jollys off on young kids. Don't go near him, don't talk to him. tell someone emediately. Be safe honey and if you are getting a bad vibe thats your mind telling you that it is not a good situation. STAY AWAY FROM HIM. Tell your parents, or call the police about him.

YES! That sounds VERY suspicious! First of all you really shouldnt have sent any form of id or your address to a man you dont even know. Thats just crazy and very unsafe in todays world. I would definitely let someone know about whats going on.

Any time my first thought is "This sounds like a plot for a bad horror movie," my instinct is that something is way wrong.

If you're serious, let a whole bunch of people know that this guy exists, the story he told and so on. Something just sounds off.

I would want to meet who I am letting keep my kid, but to make you give him your ID is kind of strange. I say if I get a bad vibe from ANYBODY, go with your gut, and don't do it. You may save yourself in the long run.

He may be trying to scam you. He might want to convince you to give him tons of money to try to be a model yourself. And he may be trying to steal your identity. You should get a credit report and see if he has tried to get credit cards in your name. Either way, he sounds like a con artist to me. You may need to report this to the athorities or even the better business bureau.

ok heres the thing. NEVER ever give ur personal information, add, phone,or picture to any1 that u havnt met. yes u should be concern but u cna stop it from now on if u want. just tell him that u got a diff job, and dont pick his phone calls anymore..block him and tell some1 that u know about this.
But theres yet another side...it might be tru but why risk? u never know.

Go with your gut instinct break off contact. Tell him that an emergency came up and you won't be available in June.
