only if you believe what it says.

A lot of Christians have read the entire Bible...have they lost their mind? I hope not! I have read the entire Bible four times and from what people tell me I am a very lucid and rational person. If anything, people who have read the Bible through gain the ability to think through things that have been taught through the media and life in general, sifting through what they believe is plausible and what is false.

Not lose your mind, but lose your ignorance. You gain a better life, better judgment, deeper faith, lasting hope, and the best of all knowing that God Loves YOU. You are a child of God, no less than the trees and the stars. YOU have a right to be here. YOU was placed here because God has a vision and plan for you. Seek God through Yeshuah and you will know what that plan is and it will come into fruition; because of your love and trust in His son Yeshuah. Don't always rely on someone else to tell you what the Bible says. Read it for yourself because I believe God has a Special Message in the Bible for everyone. There are times when God wants to tell you something and that message is for you and you alone. Believe that miracles do happen through blessings. Never lose the faith and whatever you say and do, do it all in the love of Yeshuah.

No more or less than any other book. We as christians believe the bible to be the living breathing word of God but the effect it has as far as losing your mind to it would only come if the spirit of the Lord made it so. A lot of people say show me and I'll believe. Christianity says you have to believe before he'll show you. Know if you read it before your openminded to it and before you become a christian it will most likely not make a whole lot of sense to you there will be alot you don;t understand. Even as believers their are alot of things non of us understands we just accept them as life as God would have it. But, you will not lose your mind. Why not give it a try? See for yourself.

If it is true, then as I have read it several times, then I have lost my mind several times.

So, if I lost my mind the first time, how could I loose it the second and third times; i.e., how can I loose something that I have already lost?

Also, if I lost my mind the first time, then how could I generate the impetus to read the bible the second, third and subsequent times?

Regards,

Bryan

No, I know several people who have read the entire Bible and none of them are clinically insane.

No, but it's true that if you don't read the Bible you may lose your own soul.

Why don't you try it, and see? I don't think you'll lose your mind, but if you want to read the entire bible you don't have much of one anyway. Actually, I think the graver threat would be the death from boredom.

Perhaps when you realize not only believe in a book with all evidence pointing against it, only because they were taught to, but also how people could worship such a twisted deity.

I have read the entire Bible twice, but all I have lost is most of my faith in the LDS Church.
