does anyone else find it odd that the only driver to get a "speeding on pit road penalty" was the driver who caused a ruckous with nascar officials when he spoke his mind, and let them know what he thought of them? hmmm.... ???

first of all to tregoste- yes i watch the race and listen to the intrviews,i was just making an observation, i felt that when Tony came out to talk to the media he seemed to me like he had been reprimanded, and his demeanor was that of a child who had just been scolded, everyone always says what a whiner he is, well he wasn't whining... in fact he seemed a little too calm, as if he was told not to ruffle any more feathers. and as far as the races being rigged it is possible, until they have a non-biased official in the tower then you can never say its not possible.

Do you even watch the races and interviews? Smoke said he was going a good 10mph over the speed limit in an interview after the race. I realize you are just frustrated like he is but what a stupid question.
Well your observation was incorrect. Tony was laughing about being way too fast on pit road. He certainly didn't feel he was being targeted for anything in THAT instance. If anyone needs to chill out and take some meds over this it's you. Why does this bother you so much when nobody else is crying about it ?

This is the 2nd time they have gotten together on pit road in the last few weekends. This past Saturday night @ Charlotte seemed a lot like Stewarts spotters fault, but that #20 team never takes blame for anything that they do so... I guess it was Menards fault, because Stewart said so!

All drivers that go over the designated speed limit on pit road get a penality. It's the rules of NASCAR.

If you listened to the radio chatter between Tony and his Crew he admitted to speeding and apologized to his Crew for it. Might want to get the whole story before launching accusations like that.
Plus, NASCAR Officials base the speeding penalty based on sensors, so singling out somone is impossible with the technology they are using.

No. Especially when Tony Stewart himself said over his radio that he was speeding and he knew it. Funny how your not complaining about how the first debris caution made Tony the Lucky Dog and brought him back on the lead lap. Next time before you expose yourself as a person who has no idea what they are talking about do your homework.

I am a huge smoke fan, but you could tell he was speeding, he even said on the radio that he was. Its hard at dega to get slowed down. He made it up but crashed on the last lap, so all of that effort of making up the lap and such didnt even matter. but thats how it goes at dega. Good job smoke!!!

Yes yes, NASCAR is rigged and corrupt and they play favoritism...
What is with everyone blaming NASCAR officials for everything bad that happens to their driver?! Yea, they make mistakes now and them, but its not rigged for or against anyone! Officials blow calls/decisions in every sport and NASCAR is no exception.

Cry baby Stewart should have his butt parked in the stands with the rest of the fans that disrespect NASCAR.
The only odd thing is that when someone touches or jams cry baby up its never his fault. Stewart is a two faced POS. how many chances should one person get?
