Before asking/answering a question like this the asker or answerer should establish some ground rules such as:

Quoting scripture or spouting off dogma is not an answer--
it's regurgitation!

What is Truth?
What is Ultimate?

We need to DEFINE something before we can philosophize as to whether or not we believe it.

As I see it, "Ultimate Truth" STARTS WITH the establishment of a one-on-one relationship between an individual and the Absolute. This relationship is established through INSIGHT or ENLIGHTENMENT.

Personally, I believe that "ultimate truth" is either an oxymoron or a redundancy. Truth (with a capital "T") already is "The Ultimate"!

Of course I don't believe in such a ridiculous concept. If there was such a thing, everyone everywhere could not deny it. Truth is relative and personal. That is why I have always said there is no right religion, only the religion that is right for you.

The ultimate truth is personal and belongs to each of us. I have my truth and I'm assuming you have yours.

Peace

I think that humans have a spiritual nature. I think that nature is universal (world-wide) and has many expressions (religions). I think none of these expressions is the Absolute Truth, and none of them are Completely False. This is a moderate, tolerant view. The idea of a One True Faith which makes all other faiths False and Paths to Damnation is an extremist philosophy.

Only after the last tree has been cut down,
only after the last river has been poisoned,
only after the last fish has been caught,
only then will you realize that money cannot be eaten
