It was great, Deke. Spent time with the family and ran a half-marathon. My muscles are aching today, but it was well worth it.

On Friday I had card night at my house (you'd think I'm 86 not 24 huh?) We played hand and foot and drank beer. Then when everyone left I stripped down to the underoos and spent about 3 hours in my livingroom dancing. Then I got the booty! Then I went to bed! I layed in bed on saturday and read skinny legs and all (excellent book) and watched TV and got a lot of booty. On sunday I went to breakfast at a lil cafe by my house and had a bagel and schmear and then I laid in the sun and read some more of my book and then I went to my b/f's parent's house and cooked everyone dinner and then I went home and got more booty.. All in all a good weekend. My b/f's sister is going into labor RIGHT NOW. So that's not technically the weekend but it's still good!

It was fabulous. I spent the day with my oldest son on Saturday. Worked out in the yard for a while. Sat and answered questions here. On Sunday I went to see my father and mother. My sister was there and we all went through old photos and laughed a lot. My dad started feeling bad and had to go back to bed. It was good to see him though but it's hard to watch him pass away slowly.

It was too short, as usual.
Hung out in Central Park and Coney Island.
Had Arabic classes on Sunday. Pretty much chilled. Very relaxing.

My weekend was great. Saturday my spouse and I helped with a bird watching competition in Corpus Christi. (Believe it or not, there are competitions!) Sunday we watched 2 movies, Munich and The Prestige. I liked them both. I was really impressed with how even handed Munich was.

Friday-Dinner and a movie at my folks house
Saturday-watched a parade, went to Home Depot, went to dinner with the Hubby
Sunday-Church, TV, Nap

Just kidding..well not about the birds and bees reference but in regards to thats all I did.
I went to a formal,
Hung out with MY fraternity brothers
Went and saw Bad Boy Bill.
Baby-sat for a monsterous puppy rightly named "Dizaster"
Watched movies and snuggled
Watched the playoff games when I had time.

I had an awesome one, thanks.
Saturday I took my daughter to her first 'rock concert'. Eight hours of ear-splitting, adrenalin pumping, head banging noise! Some great acts and a cool venue. Apart from getting flattened by someone crowd surfing and just being generally exhausted (well, I am 50), it was great!
Sunday I went to work to recover!
