If you can't keep the cord out of her reach, you can try a spray called "Bitter Apple" -- they sell it at PetsMart, as well as other places. Basically makes whatever the dog wants to chew taste really icky. It's safe/non-toxic, just nasty tasting.
Spraying it on the cord will teach her that the cord tastes very bad, and she won't bother it anymore. You will have to reapply it every so often -- I know the potency wears down.
Good luck!

Chewing is a natural trait. She is learning what is and isn't food, etc. Since she doesn't have hands, the only way she can examine things is to chew on them. And we don't like that.
I would recommend that you make it so the dog can't get to the cord. the best way is crate training, but you can get a baby gate and isolate one room of your house that is strictly humans only. Put the phone, computer, art supplies, and other human-only things in there.
Hoo but I live in an efficiency! OK but you still have to keep her away from cords - obviously. That's why I recommend crate training.
Anyway, depending on her breed, it will probably take between 12 and 18 months for Precious to finally stop chewing.

My puppy did that all time too. I just put the phone cord up on the table and block him from the table. So now I have little puppy barriers around all my cords and tv outputs.
Every time you see her going for the cord, just say no and distract her with one of her own chew toys.

I would like to hear these answers, my dog chewed through a lamp cord, when i flipped the switch that turns the outlet on, it was like fireworks went off in the corner. Luckily she wasn't there when the power was turned on or else she would have be toast! This is a VERY dangerous behavior. Good luck getting it stopped

keep her occupied with chew toys. a hard rubber ball helped my first dog(away from home) teeth. And pulled out the ones that were ready to come out. You will have to keep the cords off the ground and tied up. If you don't mind-duct tape them and put hot sauce on them.
