>>With the Catholic revison of dogma, they have removed Limbo. A place of green fields and eternal twilight. So those unsaved, innocent, enlightened, or those who died before the Crusafixion (sp?), now all go to Purgatory (which is "working" to be holy enough to go to heaven) or deeper into Hell. Other sects of Christianity feel the same.<<
Absolutely nothing of the above is true.

I think you have answered your own question. False religion will misguide many and lead them to death.
First, there is no purgatory. It is nowhere contained in the Bible..it is made up by false Christian doctrine and there is no such place. I believe the Catholics made up purgatory. They are to blame for a great deal of misguided knowledge bestowed upon mankind.
There is no limbo...where have you read this in the Bible?
What is hell? Do you know what hell is? Hell is the common grave for man kind. It is not a place where those who sin are tortured, roasted and burning for all of eternity.
If you want more information, please visit http://www.watchtower.org and put in purgatory, or hell, or limbo to get accurate knowledge on those terms.
Any Christian religion who teaches that limbo, purgatory, or burning hell fire exists is a false religion and you need to be very careful. That's just the short and direct of it. If you desire accurate knowledge, again, visit the site above or call an Elder from a kingdom hall in your neighborhood. Tell him that you have questions and would like to have these serious questions answered. The elder will provide either himself or someone who will help you discern the truth thru Bible scripture and common sense.
Are you ready for the truth? If so, God's door is always open because at Armageddon he will send his Son to destroy all of those mingling in false Christianity which includes esp. those teaching it, and His son will destroy all these worldly governments and authorities and those mingling within them.
Bless you.

Kind of weird statement you have here. Christianity teaches that the Kingdom of God goes to such as children, Jesus Christ placed a high importance on children even though none of the pagan cultures all around Him did not. As far as babies, Christianity teaches that even though we are born into sin, there is an age of responsibility where we reach a level of maturity where we can make the decision to follow Christ or not. Babies are innocent, they are not at that age of reason, and Christianity teaches that they go to Heaven. Dont know where you get this "limbo" stuff from. Maybe you should not be sleeping in Church so much.

This bothers me, too. Some Protestants believe that anyone that dies under the age of twelve automatically gets into heaven. They base this on Jesus saying "Suffer the children unto me, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven". I have no idea how they came up with the magical age of twelve, though. I think that people like to make up whatever makes themselves happy. How can a group of religious leaders get together and get rid of limbo? It either exists or it doesn't, you can't vote something out of existance. They are choosing to let children go to heaven, though, because they are worried about unbaptized aborted fetuses. I personally cannot believe that a loving God would put anyone in hell though. It seems very cruel.

There is debate on whether or not all babies go to heaven when they die. But, for the sake of argument, let's say that all babies go to heaven when they die. If that is so, then why would abortion be wrong since it would be sending the person to heaven?
The reason abortion is wrong is because it is taking the life of the unborn child who has committed no wrong. In other words, the child is not being put to death for a sin that it has committed. It is simply being put to death to make someone else's life more convenient.1 It is God who gives life and takes it away. There is an exception though where God makes allowance for capital punishment. "For it [governing authorities] is a minister of God to you for good. But if you do what is evil, be afraid; for it does not bear the sword for nothing; for it is a minister of God, an avenger who brings wrath upon the one who practices evil," (Rom. 13:4). This latter condition is, of course, carried out under due process of law and is reserved for those who "practice evil," i.e., murderers, rapists, kidnappers, etc.
The unborn do not fall under this category deserving capital punishment. They are simply unborn, human lives. When people have abortions they are taking into their own hands the taking life that is not permitted by God.
Whether or not aborted babies go to heaven is not the issue because the ends does not justify the means. God is the taker of life, not man.

Catholicism is not a sect. It is not also a modern religion with modern Ideas. It is very ancient with ideas from before Christ. Some of the old believes have been forgotten and never changed and they are not observed anymore. Just like if you go to your city hall you will still have laws dated from 1850 that have not been abolished yet and we don't observe them anymore. Same with Judaism, Buddhism, Muslim.

Religions can say what they like, but I'll never believe that babies go to hell. The churches can't send anyone anywhere.
