And thought their survival was a sort of "miracle"??

Shouldn't they have CURSED God for what he put them through?

And if it was a miracle, what part did the 1500 deaths play in the Miracle???

Some Miracle, HUH?

I don't know about "most", but odds are some did.

I remember after 9/11, I saw someone interviewed regarding the event, and they had the audacity to make a comment along the lines of, "God allowed this (9/11) in order to tell me I need to be back in church".

Wow...God would kill 3000 people so that ONE person could return to church. So much for loving and benevolent.

This is a strawman since almost no one argues that those who survived the sinking of the Titanic did so due to a miracle.

Yes, coming so close to tragic death seems to have that effect on most people with any sense.
Yes, a close call suggests a miracle
No, we grow stronger through the trials in life and He didn't put them through it, He brought them through it
The 1500 people who died had opportunity to get right with God their whole life and I suspect many were right with God. Many of those who didn't know God, I'm sure had ample time to call on Him before death. I guess we'll have to wait til we get on the other side to know about that.
Yes, it was some miracle.

Who ever said people surviving the Titanic was a miracle? The survivors were all in lifeboats.

yes, any miracle that has been performed has only been a miracle depending on which side you're on. the dead people's families would say that satan did this, but the ones who lived would say that god was watching over them.

They should have most certainly thanked God for sparing their lives. The people who died had come to the end of their lives as decided by God.

I suppose that many of them did; undoubtedly, some didn't. It is, of course, absurd to either credit god for saving some, or discredit god for drowning others -- it was human stupidity that caused the disaster, and god had nothing to do with it or with anything else.

Indeed so. I'm constantly "awed" by God's love.

The link below applies to 9/11, but you'll be able to ask similar questions about the Titanic.

sounds like he became right into a pervert searching for a cheep trill. the female got here and scared him off thankfully. If it wasn't for the female then with any luck somebody else could have.. God does not exist so he could no longer have saved you

It is a miracle to survive such a tragedy. No one knows the answer to the rest of your questions.
Some things you must ask God directly.
