Should American soldiers go to hell for abusing helpless prisoners and literally feeding them to dogs?

What is your unbiased opinion? What kind of ridiculous religion can send such heinous criminals(soldiers) to heaven?

Certainly, not "all-good". But hypocritical to say the least!

This is a good example of a big problem with christians. They pretend to claim that god makes all of the decisions, yet here you are trying to decide for her.

A true Christian who was a soldier would not abuse prisoners or feed them to the dogs. Then again, a Christian should not enter the military if he/she wishes to obey God's command, "Thou shalt not kill", knowing that you may be expected to kill people at some point. God loves the "enemy" , too, and wants them to be saved. How can that be accomplished if we kill them before they have a chance to know Christ?
Can you imagine Christ Himself abusing people or feeding them to dogs? Then do not ascribe that behavior to Christians. I believe any soldier who does such a thing is not a Christian, but probably an atheist/agnostic or something else.
Any unrepentant sinner who dies unsaved will not be in Heaven - even nominal "Christians". Jesus said, "You will know them by their fruits". Are the people in question producing good "fruit" or bad "fruit"?

Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

Going to hell has nothing to do with how good or bad a person seems. As the saying goes, God doesn't grade on a curve. Your eternal life depends on your decision for Christ.

1) If they do not repent, and truely redeem their pathetic little souls, then let burn.

2) A soldier is a man/woman who fights for their country and homeland. What evil is there in that? Most parants in the military fight so that their family can have a better life then they did. I believe that is Heaven worthy.

First, that's for God to judge, not us.

Second, God does not wish that any be destroyed, but that all attain to repentance and gain life.

So, if the solders were to turn aside from their ways and repent, I'm sure God would find it in his likeness to forgive them for what they've done.

well said. it is about LOVE

1 John 4

7Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. 8Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. 9This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. 10This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. 11Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. 12No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.

The bible clearly warns us not to judge the eternal destiny of others.

IMHO, no 'true Christian' would serve in the military in this day and age... "blessed are the peacemakers" and all that....
