It IS a sin to blaspheme Jesus (PBUH). I wouldn't believe that book which has been changed/edited over and over until all the truth has been wiped out.

Very good question.

The Bible is not saying you should blaspheme Jesus as much as you want - it just says that if you do, and then repent, you will be forgiven. It's a sin....but not an unforgivable one.

The reason blasphemy against the spirit is "unforgivable" is because a person who rejects the Holy Spirit is rejecting forgivness. Therefore....they can't be forgiven.

God does not force us to be forgiven. We are moved to ask for it when we begin to feel sorrow for the bad things we've done.

God bless you.

If you blaspheme Jesus all you want w/o repenting, you may be considered "lukewarm" as a Christian. Christians can't blaspheme against the Holy Spirit, if so, then they were never really saved and now they're Satanic.

That is true, although blasphemy is not something a person should spend their time doing.
The blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is one sin that will never be forgiven. You cannot enter heaven with unforgiven sins.
