I get the same problem.... sometimes. I find that when I shave my thighs, it's hard to keep it moist there, and I end up dry shaving, pretty much. I fill the bathtub with a couple inches of water, after I shower (afterwards, so that the hair softens up more) and sit in it while I shave, so I can be constantly using more water. Instead of shaving cream, try using conditioner. When you're done, drain the tub, rinse off under the shower, and use some moisturizer (body butter is fantastic!). It works for me....

I dont shave my thighs...i only have peach fuzz. But normally bumps are either allergic reactions, or just shaving with inadequate cream.
I would first, exfoliate...use St. Ives apricot scrub. Then run warm water to relax your skin and hair.
Use a lot of shaving cream....for sensitive skin ..and a good razor. After you are done, either put on Skintimate after shave lotion(gel). OR baby oil, for moisturizing.
Should help ya!!!

I have the same problem, I used the sensitive shaving cream and all that crap, it doesnt work, I just ended up having to use a Nair or Veet lotion. works wonders and no bumps, it lasts way longer than shaving and its much smoother!

before shaving put baby oil for 5-10minutes then remove it with warm water *not hot -not cold*
then put too much shaving gel which especially for women and sensitve skin (Gillite for women is the best) use also Gellite razor for the sensitve skin and try to choose one with 3 blades
after finishing your shower put baby oil mixed with little almond oil on the shaved area and see the results.
i hope it works with u.

Try using both razors and shaving cream for sensitive skin. That's how I avoid getting bumps and razor rash.

After shaving, immediately put a hydro-cortisone cream on the area and you won't have bumps. You can this this cream at any drug store or Wal-mart. Its cheap and it works.
