I dont ever swear and I have never used God's name in vain. I think when someone swears they just do it to get attention and it shows me how immature they are. There is no reason to use that type of language in my book.

Swearing is swearing whether you use God's name in vain and yes I love to swear. Got a problem with that?

Colossians 3:8 says
But now you must rid yourselves of all such things as these:
anger, rage, malice, slander, and filthy language from your lips.
A sin is a sin and whoever takes the name of God in vain or lets such language come from your mouth is coming from the heart. So I think both are equal.
Psalms 19:14 says, May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight.

Probably, but I wouldn't recommend either.
I am still trying to break my habit of cursing and swearing when angry or frustrated. There are better ways to deal with anger. I don't want to be a person who cannot control myself.

Swearing is fun, and additionally demonstrates that one has a mastery of the English language.

No difference, and better has nothing to do with it. Words are just sounds.
