If this is true, how does it diminish Christ? Cain and Abel were brothers, does that make Abel less because his brother was Cain? NO.
Heavenly Father created everything and everyone...that includes Lucifer.
Read Isaiah 14:12-13
12. How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!
13. For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:
Also read Revelations 12:4; Jude 1:6; 2 Peter2:4.
Can you disprove these things? Where did he come from if you can?

Again... refering to my statement about Cain...
Saying this does not make them equals... It just explains why Satan is so low. Somone must be very high to fall very low.
In no way am I saying that they are equal, where did you get that Idea?
How is this blasphemus?

I also said nothing about being blood brothers.
They are both offspring of God. Only Jesus is begotten. Satan never obtained a body.

Job 2: 1-4, 6-7
1 Again there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them to present himself before the LORD.
I'ts funny how people can missunderstand the words of a simply man. (without offense) because they are proud, they just reject and defend their believes but no one could tell you where satan come from.
He is not a son of Heavenly Father then who created him if Heavenly Father is the Father of ALL spirits? or Who saw in your question, that you compare Jesus and Satan as a equals? because i can't see maybe I need glasses!
Satan and Lucifer are brothers and first Satan didn't get a body and he is not able to compare himself with our Savior Jesus Christ, no way!
The thing is if they dont want to see, they wont never open their eyes.
Peace Bro.

Why would you even attempt to make such a statement?
God created Lucifer (an angel) as well as many, many other angels. Jesus is not an angel. Humans are not angels. Jesus is not human in the way that every other human is. Jesus Christ is the direct Son of God. In no verses you've mentioned is there anything that says that Lucifer "Satan" is Jesus Christ's brother. That's utter blasphemy.
No doubt God was sorrowed by Lucifers betrayal. Moreso because he knew what it was going to do to mankind, but he also knew that Satan would not prevail either, and that all things work for the greater good. I'm sure if you created some type of ultra-intricate being which turned against you completely, wanted you gone, to take over everything you created, and turn it completely upside down into a wicked, evil, putrid thing, you would be disapointed as well.

Why can't Jesus be the One God in human form? Isaiah prophesied that the Messiah would be both Mighty God and Everlasting Father. (Is. 9:6) Jesus told His disciples, when they asked to see the Father, that they already had seen the Father, because they had seen Him (Jesus.) John 14:8-9 Jesus claimed to be the I AM (John 8:58). All the fullness of the Godhead dwells in Jesus (Col. 2:9) God was literally IN Christ (2 Cor. 5:19) God was manifest (shown) in the flesh (1 Tim. 3:16) God is one Spirit (Holy Spirit) - John 4:24; Eph. 4:4 The Holy Spirit and the Father are one and the same Spirit; it was the Holy Spirit who caused Mary to conceive, thereby becoming the Father of Jesus. (Matt. 1:18-20) Jesus is the NAME of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. How do we know that? Because, after hearing the command of Matthew 28:19 to baptize in the NAME of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, the apostles went out and baptized everyone, Jews, Samaritans, Gentiles, even the disciples of John the Baptist, using only the name of Jesus! (Acts chapters 2, 8, 10, 19) They never once repeated the titles in baptism. They used the one name because Jesus said to baptize in the NAME. And Jesus is the only name by which we must be saved: Acts 4:12. We do all in His name (Col. 3:17) because He is the one God in flesh. Edit: Jesus had a dual nature. He was both God and Man. His parents were the one Spirit of God and Mary. From Mary, He inherited his human body and his human nature, what we call the "son." As a man, the son, his knowledge was limited, and he did things God does not: He prayed, hungered, thirsted, feared, suffered and died. But the one Spirit of God was also dwelling in that body. And as God, Jesus forgave sins, which man cannot do. He raised the dead, calmed the sea, performed all kinds of miracles, and rose from the dead. The human part of Jesus, the son, is not divine, but human. But the Spirit of God was literally IN Christ... thus Jesus was the Father in flesh, all the fullness of the Godhead in flesh.

Lucifer was the son of the morning, he was created as an angel. He believed he was equal to God and God cast him out. Lucifer took 1/3 of all the angels with him. All angels were created by God to serve Him.
Jesus on the other hand was born as a man of a woman through the normal ways of birth except that God impregnated Mary supernaturally. Jesus is as much man as you and I are except his father is God.
Jesus had to come to earth as a man because of the promises made to Adam. Jesus was spirit and could not regain the earth as a spirit he had to be a physical man to do so....it is a difficult teaching to do here in limited space.

Lucifer is not a Hebrew word/name, or so I've heard. It's Latin, in the middle of what was probably written in Hebrew.
The problem I see is that anti-Mormons make it sound like we elevate Lucifer/Satan to the same status as Christ. As if they were blood brothers, deserving of equal inheritance. They just make a blanket statement "Mormons believe Jesus and Satan are brothers" which is extremely misleading. And of course, that's what they want to be. They don't want to explain what it really means. That would be counter-productive.

God created everything, but that does not make everything or everyone God's child.
John 1:12 says "But as many as received Him, to them He gave the power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name." Romans 8:14 says "For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God."
Christ Himself said in Mark 3:35 "For whosoever shall do the will of God, the same is my brother, and my sister, and mother." Satan doesn't do the will of God- he does his own will. To call him Christ's brother is to call Christ a liar.
No one is a child of God until they have become born again.
Satan is a fallen angel. Christ is God, a part of the Trinity. To call Satan Christ's brother is blasphemy.
Edit: I'm creating a tomato herb tart for dinner, since I am creating it is it one of my children? God created dogs, are they His children? What about trees?
By the way, we did not exist before our life on earth Zechariah 12:1 also tells us that God "formeth the spirit of man within him." This verse would not be true if our spirits were formed in a premortal existence.
In Genesis 2:7 we see that Adam became a living spirit only after God breathed the breath of life into him. Paul also makes it clear in Galatians 3:26 that we are "children of God by faith in Christ Jesus" and not a premortal "birth."

Jesus created everything- read colossians, especially 1:16. the devil is but a created being, an angel that was cast from heaven. Jesus is the Creator. That puts Him in a whole different league than satan.
