Shyness is something that a lot of guys have to deal with. There always seems to be more pressure on the guy to make all the moves etc...this can be very hard to do. However, the positive thing about you is that your not giving up on the guy - so many girls see shyness as a weakness and will get out of the relationship. What you have to remember is that confidence does grow with time.
All you have to do is talk to the guy. Help him learn to trust you. Once he does this, he will be much more comfortable being around you and the shyness should disappear.

When they're that shy it usually means that he likes you ALOT. I know this from experience I was dating this guy and for the life of me I could never get him to talk I would ask him something and he would just give me a yes or no so what I did is that I took him out dancing with some friends of mine and that seemed to loosen him up more because your around people your not by yourself

The more chatty you are with him he will eventually come out of himself.
Be outgoing with him but dont push him in to doing stuff or you will scare him!!
Find out what his main interests are and start a conversation about that as he will feel comfortable to talk about his interests which will lead on to new conversations.
Some people take a while to come out of themselves but just be patient with him coz once he is comfortable he wont be so shy with you in future.

When i first started dating my fiancee he was so shy.He would never get into a conversation,he would never talk about sex or anything related. Then we started dating and i just slowly turned him into a freak. Now he talks to anybody and he loves to talk to all of his buddies about sex,and he has become very kinky and experimental. And i love him so much and i would never give him up.

arm in arm ...stroll, have a few beers...stroll...talk about life, family, sway away from anything that may appear to be a touchy subject......discuss what makes you both laugh, what films you like, what you like to eat etc....can be loads to talk about, but if he's shy don't try to push things too quickly relationship wise.

guess you are gonna have to make the first move..if you wait around waiting for them to make the first move...then it may be a long time...but after you have made that move he may come around and warm up and feel less shy
