They aren't one in the same obviously but yes the cultures borrowed from eachother to make conversion more comfortable and to make more sense to the masses in general. Plus..its kind of a cool story. :)

myths are not true, they are made to portray a significance and give credence to the fact that in each culture, the gods they worshiped interacted with humans. In other to fit into christianity,we see a similarity. But at the end of the day truth stands out of myth.Like someone said,Horus is a myth and Jesus is history.

I don't think so. Isn't 'Horus' a general term for a large number of gods?
I don't know much about this topic, or any Egyptian mythology.
----
There was 'Horus the Younger', 'Horus the Elder', 'Horus the Child' and I think even a 'Horus the Great Falcon' - and any number of other 'Horus'

You should see Breakfast Monkey's similiar question it has a link to a site that has pictures that look like images and statues of Mary and Jesus, but most of them are from stories from other cultures, Horus included.

no, the a Egyption god Hordes isn't real Jesus is real. Jesus died on the cross for our sins, Hordes didn't he wasn't real. Hodes was one of many gods fake gods, Jesus is the one true God and always will be. If you believe this and pray and ask Jesus to save you he will, but you have to be sincere, Jesus is all knowing.

yes. most of the stories (if not all) in the bible have come from stories of earlier religions. the son of a god being born to a mortal virgin mother is a common story.

Jesus comes from History.
Horus comes from mythology.
How can they both be the same?

I studied both Christianity and kemetic orthodoxy.
I can safely say that they are 'almost' Identical, and they have done similar "miracles."
BUT i would not say they are the same. Mostly because of the religions teachings.
