Well I recently got a new job (like thursday) and they said they would give me a call this week so we could set up a day to start. So I just quit my current job. Well I found out yesterday that they do a urine drug test before I can start. I smoked like a few hits friday night. So I just want to know how long it would take to get it out of my system. I am by no means a pot head, I smoke a little bit every now and then. The last time I smoked before that was early in march. I also have a pretty fast metabolism and I take cranberry supplements and drink cranberry juice daily for diffrent reasons. I am also on this detox program thing I started a week ago, I take like 12 pills a day and one of those is for whole body detox and has milk thistle in it. I really dont think I have a whole lot to worry about considering it wont be for about a week. I asked a bunch of stoners I know and they said I am being paranoid, but then other people are like "omg its gonna take at least a month to get out of ur system no matter what!!" so I am not sure, anyone have some ideas. Thanks

I have worked with A.A. and N.A. off and on for several years so I know this to be true. I am going to let you in on a little known secret. The drug test to actually detect the drugs are very expensive so they are rarely done about a 1 in 10 chance of you really getting a (drug test). The test they perform in most cases it to check for masking agents like the (supplements or detoxifers (Green tea, Golden seal, Cranberry juice or even excessive Orange juice)). It is much cheaper and it is more accurate causing people to fail their (drug test) so called drug test. The best chance you have of passing the test would be to drink plenty of water for a couple of days "before" not the day of the test because they can detect water dilution ratio with the masking test that they really do. If they tell you; you had an abnormal reading and want to do a second test it is because of the supplements showing up the follow up test "will" be for the drugs. So have a couple of salads and at least 8 glasses of water a day to help get excessive masking agents out of your system before you go. So good luck and let me know how you like your new job.

The trouble is, THC is "fat soluble." This means that it can build up in fatty tissues in the body, and stay there for a long time......
The common consensus seems to be, that it takes about 1 to 2 months before you could be reasonably sure you would pass a drug test. It all depends on how sensitive the test is.....
If you used more sensitive equipment, such as a mass spectrometer, you could probably detect THC in the urine, dozens of months after the fact.....
Besides, it makes no difference, whether you smoke two joints in as many months, or 10 a day. It is still *illegal*, and it is still morally reprehensible. The money you used to buy the stuff goes to fund the bottom line of dangerous and violent criminal organizations, (which are probably dealing other, much more dangerous items as well.....)
If you feel you cannot live without having a joint now and then, then you should probably get it legally, from a doctor.......
You don't have to take my word for it...

Beside the pot you need to be concerned about the supplements you take as many of those can cause you to test positive. Insist on a blood test and not a urine test so you get more accurate results even if you have to pay for it yourself. I am surprised that you quit your other job before you even started your new job...............what happens if this job falls through and you don't pass the drug test or something? Also even as a casual pot smoker you are killing off way to many brain cells. You need all the brain cells you can get so consider stopping the casual smoking. For now do more research on the web regarding what supplements will show positive in a drug test so you are prepared. Also search how long it takes for pot to get out of your system. Don't rely on what others have said check it out for yourself on the web.

You can't fake a drug test. The way technology is these days, they have their bases covered. They can detect illegal drugs as well as prescription drugs; and you had better have your own current prescription to confirm it. They don't let you take ANYTHING into the bathroom with you; there are no paper towels; there is no trash can; the water doesn't even turn on; they pour a certain chemical into the toilet that will detect any sort of tampering; and you are not allowed to flush...if you do, you have to take the test all over again. ALSO, they check the temperature of the urine and can easily tell if it came straight from your body. Drug abusers aren't smart anyway; and they certainly can't get past drug tests.

Yeah, quit smoking. It does take up to 30 days for marijuanna to get out of your system for people that have atleast 12% body fat. It takes more than that for people that have more body fat.
