Philosophical evidence based on observation? Yes. Scientific? No. To do that, I would have to take something that isn't material and place it in a test tube, extract it, modify it, etc. How do you test the immaterial? It is not the domain of science. Science is not the sole arbiter of truth; there are some things that are simply beyond it.
The closest you can get are out of body experiences, near death experiences, people experiencing common dreams, "ghosts," "hauntings," and so on. Some of these provide fairly good evidence. For instance on a NDE, how would a person who hasn't seen his sister that day know what she was wearing when she rushes into the hospital after the news? He couldn't, but those instances where this happens shows that something beyond the material is at work. That, however, is the best you can get.

There is neurological evidence of experiences described as spiritual (EEG and neurochemical tracers) but there is no evidence of a "spirit". Most biologists will tell you that life is more than the sum of its parts but as we've yet to find the Biochemistry behind it (the spirit) there is no scientific proof.
Please note that most scientists come away with a much greater appreciation of what it takes for us to make it through each day after they receive their education than your average lay person. We know much more intimately what makes the body and life in general tick and it is wondrous and amazing. Science, while it attempts to describe life, in no way cheapens the miracles of existence as we know how miraculous they truly are.

Vriginia Tech. Massacre = No Spirit in that murderor. Mother theresa = Great Spirit. It's not a hard concept, just one that can not be measured with a ruler or scale. A Spirit is seen through actions and deeds. You can't weigh a person's life, but you can see what they have done.

Hmm interesting question.
I have been with out faith, I have been with a faith that wasn't true for me, and I have been with the faith that makes me happy. You just feel better in geneal when you are happy with yourself. Do I think you can find this happiness in not believeing in anything at all? Sure. But the human spirit, the drive, the base of who we are...science can't explain it or disprove it anymore more then they can prove it. Psychology is working on it...but somethings are just unexplainable. You can chalk it up to faith or just unproven science or both.

What do you consider a true witness. For each I give you, you will just disregard it with a lame excuse. If you really want to believe, then you have to soul search and pray. Proof comes from with in. Any other proof I give you, you would just find a reason it couldn't be true. There are plenty of people who will make you not believe, and plenty that can help you believe.
What about you?
Will you always trust in other people opinions?

That's the catch of choosing Science as your framework of faith...it has defined "proof" specifically to exclude the wisdom that resides in the human heart.

I don't know if this will help, but it is an interesting experiment regardless. Say to yourself "I wonder what my next thought will be?"... then wait... do you notice that when you ask yourself this, you feel as though you are on the outside of your brain, watching it? This is because, what is YOU, is not your brain. The brain is an organ made of flesh, prone to error, etc... You are spirit...

When you experience spiritual birth where your spirit birthed spiritman blends with your soul, then you would have inner proof in you. You would be sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise.

There is no such proof. Nor is there any evidence to support the existence of "spirits" or anything like them.
