If you're trying to make a point, you really need to find a less hostile way to make it.
Anger doesn't change anyone's mind.
God says preach the GOSPEL at all times. Gospel means GOOD NEWS. We are told not to judge. Not to point fingers.
Pro-Choice does not equal Pro-Abortion.
PERIOD.
This misunderstanding is the biggest problem between the camps. I have no idea what the statistics are. I only know from experience. That is to say those I've spoken with.
A significant number of Pro-Choice people would never DREAM of having an abortion. They would also go to GREAT LENGTHS to help someone else in any way they could to NOT have an abortion.
We have to get to the root of the problem. People using abortion as a contraceptive. That is SO wrong on SO many levels. Why do women do this? The list of reasons is long. Poor self esteem. Trying to "land" a man by getting pregnant. Fear of being alone which leads them to desperate acts - where they allow themselves to be literally used as little more than a stress releaving work out. Date rape that they are too fearful to come forward about.
If we're going to end the rampant use of abortion we have to teach people how to love themselves. Respect themselves. Not start having sex when they are just children. Not have meaningless sex when they are frightened adults.

What is funny is that abortion is not just wrong by christian standards, but it is illogical. There are too many other options and modern medicine has come a long way to solve otherwise unsolvable options. In a nut shell my stance is that of a situationalist.
I believe that abortions are wrong, but I do believe there are some cercumstances in which the destruction of human life is necessary to preserve it. An example of this is a fillopian birth. If the fetus isn't destroyed than the mother and the child will die, so now what do you do? Let them both die, or kill one so the other may live.
My stance is abortion is wrong except in cercumstances where there is a life threatening cercumstance and abortion is the only option. Remember Jesus also taught intent, and he would not be very happy if one took their view of being against abortion to such an extreme that they would allow the pointless death of the mother and child when the mothers life could be preserved.

I am against abortion, but pro-choice. Sometimes there is no alternative. Ask the nine-year-old who was raped and impregnated and see how she feels about going through the further trauma of pregnancy and childbirth when her body and mind are in no way able to handle it.
I knew a woman who was married and had seven children. She and her whole family are Christian. Unfortunately, she was abandoned by her husband. She found out she was pregnant and in the course of prenatal exams, they discovered that the fetus had severe chromosomal abnormalities and would probably not even go to term and if it did, would never be able to take care of itself. There was no way this woman would be able to take care of a severely disabled child, with seven other children to care for. She was working full time and going to school to get a degree and a better job.
She went through counseling with her doctors and minister and decided to proceed with the abortion. The baby was "born" through cesarean, they named the baby, and had a funeral and buried the baby. They treated it as if she had had a miscarriage.
Heaven help us and keep us from ever having to make a decision like that, but if I ever do, I would like to know that I can do it legally and therefore safely and with the compassionate help of a trained medical professional.
And that was only four paragraphs, not twelve!

"Now, please go ahead and write your twelve paragraph explanation as to why baby murder is cool."
Are you on drugs?
You've never seen anyone say that. Either you're willfully lying, or you're utterly delusional.
Either way, a civilization can't be run with people like you in charge.

If a Christian follows the laws of God or the Ten Commandments then they are cursed by the law.
If they only trust in Jesus and in grace then no matter what happens they will be forgiven and get Paradise......
Wow, the Devil has fooled them into completely disregarding all the commandments of God so they can live according to their own desires and make those desires into a god.
Each individual will have his/her own understanding and in a sense there will be hundreds of thousand of "relgions" and people will never be united on one understanding.

It should not matter if you are a Christian or not. Just on the basis of human rights, killing innocent children because they are incovenient should be considered morally wrong by anybody.

Your complaining that people pro-"baby killing" are stuck in there view. It sounds like your pretty stuck in your view yourself.
First off what do you define as a baby? As soon as the sperm hits the egg, when the egg is implanted, when its heart starts beating?
Does that mean that all forms of contraception are bad aswell (and I include the Roman Catholic church sanctioned natural methods in that, such as the rythm method) because they stop a baby forming in the womb?

Sin is sin - there are no categories. It is a distressing subject and must break God's heart - as I would imagine does starving children in Africa and tragedies such as Chernobyl. Think we have to start with our own planks and then just go out and do what Jesus told us to do.
