A few years ago, my best friend was dating this guy who complained that the girls in music vidoes were fake and "made in a factory" (lol) because they didn't have stretch marks and other bodily imperfections that real, everyday women have....
I found it to be slightly charming...lol...He actually appreciates the things that happen to a woman's body over time...

What do you guys think about stretch marks, cellulite, scars and other such bodily marks/"imperfections" on your significant other?...do you prefer to have someone who is seemingly "flawless"?

I think men love my body more than I do. I definitely have a very volumptouos plus sized body. Also, my breasts are quite large, but not really perky. I've been pregnant before and when my milk dried up, my breasts didn't shrink, they deflated. I also have my scar from my cesarean among other flaws. I'm comfortable with myself but don't necessarily like my body. But over the years, I've come across several men who simply love my body, flaws and all.

I have a theory of sorts when it comes to meeting and staying with women. Generally, " The looks get you there while the personality keeps you there". I have dated physically beautiful women whom have faded because of there attitude and personality. On the other hand the woman I am currently with has continued to get better and better in every category. So much so that she has lost nearly 20 lbs in the last 4 months, even though I insisted it wasn't necessary. I personally think women worry about "those magazines and videos" more than we do. Granted we like to look, but seldom do most of us expect that from our current girls or the girls we date. My roommates and I actually gauge our girls a lot according to how "cute" they are when they wake up, mainly because its real, its the way they look naturally prior to all the crazy work in front of the mirror. Hope everything i mentioned makes sense to you. Imperfections are part of everyone, if you find a guy that doesn't realize that then he's not likely worth the effort.

First of all, there is no such thing as flawless. It doesn't matter if your 90 or 5 - everybody has cellulite!

I actually think it's womanly. Anyone agree?

no way. i mean it would be nice to date a johnny depp look-a-like but looks arent everything. i love my man and all his scars and marks. and he loves all my imperfections as well. im so tired of the the media and t.v. trying to manipulate us into thinking that being "beautiful" is how you get to the top.
