Is there any way i can accelerate the healing of my navel piercing (like a band-aid or something) which i assume has been rejected from my body?
I already let it sit without a ring for less than a month and nothing seems to be different.

my navel pierce did not COMPLETELY get rejected. i took out the ring before it could push the ring any further towards the surface, and now, the skin is really really thin.

Don't cover the area. Just keep it generally clean and give your body time to heal.

Its been less than a month and while everyone's body heals differently that is generally not enough time to repair that sort of damage.

It took my piercing weeks to heal. It was
horrible and painful. What finally cleared it
up was using Betadine. Just poor some on a cottonball and rub it on. I kept my piercing
in, and though it took a long time(sensitive
skin!), it's totally fine now. If only I had known about the Betadine sooner. After it heals you can rub something like cocoa butter on the skin to firm it up. I did that after my prenancy. I kept the ring in the whole time! It left a little scar from being pushed so far out, but now it's completely gone! I've had my navel ring for seven years, and now it just seems like it's always been there. Good luck if you try it again!

Go to where you had the piercing done. They will have sea salt you mix with water. When in the shower 2 times a day you wash the navel with it. What kind of metal did they use? Thats a bummer.

make sure you keep it clean - and make sure it's not infected on the inside (as can happen with piercings when they go wrong and people take out the jewellery)

Try noesporin twice a day and also clean it with peroxide daily. This should promote healing. and don't pick at it!!!!
