my parents give me a grade check to give to all my teachers and have them sign it with my grade on it. they make me do one every friday and then get mad at me when I dont remember to get all of the classes because we were busy or something. I told my mom to give me one on monday then give me until friday to get it filled out and she said no it was stupid and there is no reason why I cant get it done in one day. how can i get my mom to chill out and do it my way because that will save us both a lot of trouble.

compromise - suggest you get the grade check on thursday, giving you 2 days to get round everyone - then if one of your teachers is absent, or you don't have that particular class, it gives you another day

Have a teacher call her. The only way around it is to have an adult talk with her. Maybe they can set something up online so it is easier for both your parents and the teachers. Then if it is not filled out the pressure is off of you. However right now it is your responsibility, so you need to be on top of it. Maybe a compromise of getting the grade sheet on Thursday, so if the teacher is busy you have an extra day to catch them. Also remember at the beginning of class to talk with the teacher, rather than at the end where there is a time crunch.

There is no reason you cant be responsible and get it done, I cant see a good excuse, takes a couple minutes,, and your teachers should already know you are needing it,,

one thing your mother could do is call your guidance councilor and set it up through them to get it done on Friday from all the teachers, it is what they are getting paid to do

Ask your mom to consider how it makes you feel when you have to stay on your teachers and possibly annoy them all the time. Tell her that you are tired of being embarrassed around your friends when you have to do all this stuff for your parents.
Just be honest and tell her how you feel. She might just listen. If she doesn't then ask her to maybe consider letting you take at least one more day to get it done.

How about you take the one on Friday and make copies of it so that you can have it on Monday for the next week. This way you both get your way.

Its not hard to get done in one day, I have my son do the same thing and he drops it ont eh teachers desk when he walks in the class and picks it up on his way out, he has never had a problem with it.
And no offense here, but if you cant get something that simple done in one day than life will chewe you up and spit you out when you step out on your own!!

Your parents ONLY have your best interest in mind. They take care of you feed you and get you what ever you need.Do your parents the small favor of getting good grades and get them the grade check.Trust me they only do that for one reason they want you to be the best you can be and make something of your self in life. They are not after you to punish or torture you... they care.Respect your parents always.Good Luck and God Bless.

Start taking school (and your grades) a little more seriously. Pass all of your classes and I guarantee your mom will lay off the "grade check".

Do it your mom's way and you save a lot of trouble. Is it really that difficult to remember something you're supposed to do every week?

her beef is with your teachers. she needs to contact them and make sure that they understand her desire for a report every friday. this way, when they see you coming, it is anticipated and they will/should make time.

frankly, i think your parents are being a bit overzealous with this. that's asking alot from your teachers. perhaps she could take it down to once a month....i doubt it, but i'm sure it would make life a lot easier on everyone.

take care:)
