Why are people on answers so rude when you ask a question? I asked a question about my 12 year old who is going threw some challenging times and according to some of the idiotd on this site its all my fault and blah blah blah. I mentioned I take him to church and boy did that open a can of worms right down to I force him how could I force him when he asked to go with me am I suppose to tell him no because then you wont be cool, or be proud that he wanted to go and support him on that? Why if people have nothing nice to say about a posted question why dont they not answer it and move on to the next question instead of hurting someones feelings and making then feel like crapp? Why do people act that way and be so judgemental and accusing when they dont know you from adam?

Some people all this site are idiots. The majority, however are very helpful, intelligent people. You just have to ignore the 2% out there that just try to get a rise out of you. Keep posting...there are a lot of positive people here too.

Look at it his way: you get what you pay for.
You come to Yahoo Answers for advice. Sometimes you get some people who can relate...they give you good advice and you are happy. Other times people want to judge. They might be nasty. But this is how it goes. Free, anonymous advice has it's downside, don'cha know.
I think you have 2 choices: #1 don't ask for advice here. If you can't ferret out the good advice from the bad, or if you find yourself offended, then reserve your queries to friends and family members. You know-those people that have to be nice to you just cause.
or 2: don't let the hatahs bother you. Honestly, how can you be bugged by someone you don't know, who doesn't know you. Water off a duck's back, my friend.

Sorry that people are giving you a difficult time, but that's the reason you should NOT take it personally and feel bad. They don't know you ! I am surprised at how many people like to judge others, and by what standard ?
Parenting is difficult enough without people judging you for what you are doing.
If you are taking your child to church, keep doing it. It's the right thing to do. The Bible says that parents who don't tell their children about Jesus/God will be judged harshly !
Get him involved in a youth group at church if you have one.
The pre-teen years are crazy-think back to when you were there. Getting your son involved in things he is interested in, perhaps sports or a youth group, keeps him accountable and gives him a chance to grow emotionally.

Everyone is an expert in front of an unseen audience. If you and your son are going to church together, that is already a step in the right direction. The preteen and teen years present all types of challenges. Just stay firm and don't cave. Later, you will be thanked for that.

WHy are you getting so upset over what people say on the internet? People on this website tend to be very ignorant. They assume that because you do not share the same value or views on marriage, raising kids, religion, families, or life, that you are in the wrong. Thats nothing to be sad or mad about. Show them you are the bigger person and show you don't care instead of complaining about it expecting everyone to say "oh poor you, they were mean to you?" just screw em. You say they can just not answer your question, well why don't you just not read answers you don't like?
