My fiance took the time to have a ring made up for me, it was white gold and set with fire opals in an eternity style. I LOVED it. When we went on holiday I had to take it off as my fingers swell up and it was stolen from the hotel safe, thankfully I had it ensured so we were able to claim back the money and my fiance is now buying a new one for me from that insurance money, we decided to go for a totally different ring as the first was irreplaceable and so now I have diamonds and tanzanite in an eternity setting, it is truly stunning and I love it.

I REALLY love my ring, the whole wedding set actually. We went together and picked the ring out. My Father gave me a ring when I was 15, he has now passed. The outlay of my engagement ring is close to my other ring, only more diamonds. I would not change it for anything.

I truly LOVE LOVE LOVE my ring! My fiance did an amazing job at picking it out himself. I've actually gotten two, as the first one was more of a "I promise I'll marry you" type ring, and two months ago I got my new, "Let's get married" ring. They were both amazingly beautiful, but I must say that it doesn't really matter what the ring looks like, I am marry the love of my life! I still like to look at my ring and think of the love that it repesents. THAT is what an engagment is really meant for!

Okay, when I was proposed to I was asked with a ring made out of paper, and super glue lol. Yeah I know, but it was the sweetest most adorable thing. My fiance took me out to the beach at night, and we were sitting on this pier, and he says, "I'll be back in 10 minutes" So I wait and wait, and finally he comes back. We were just sitting there staring out at the water, and he asks me to marry him, and when I said yes, he slipped the paper ring on my finger. Of course, We went to the jeweler the very next morning, and I've now got a very beautiful princess cut, but I still have the paper ring locked in my safe box. I love both of my rings, and I dearly love my fiance.

LOVE my engagement ring. My hubby did a fantastic job of picking out something simple, classic and gorgeous - a brilliant-cut solitaire in a tiffany setting. It fits my taste in jewelry perfectly. When he was faced with the choice of buying a bigger stone (Over 1 ct), or a smaller stone (btw .75 - 1 ct.) of higher quality, he went with the smaller stone, but it's internally almost flawless - it has only one inclusion, and you need a microscope to see it.

Yes, I love my ring. He got it at a used store..but that's all he could afford and really wanted to purpose to me so he did what he could. I didn't know it was used till a few weeks later but it still didn't change what I thought. It was something special from him and he still put a lot of thought into it.
We've now been married for 8 years almost and I still wear it proudly!

I am very happy with my ring! My fiancee got my great-grandmother's engagement ring from my mother. It means more to me than anything he could have bought.

I love my engagement ring, I loved his speech before giving it to me, and I love his actual proposal. It was in all seriousness, the most romantic moment of my life.
