Here's the deal, we're both on an OJT right now (on the job training), but with separate companies.

She's been telling me lately that a couple of male employees there have been asking persistently for her mobile no. and that they have been trying to make physical contact with her (trying to grasp her hand, the bastards).

Of course I am enraged by this, but I know how to keep my cool. So for now I instructed her that first thing tomorrow morning she tells her supervisor:

- The whole story.
- That she is not comfortable and terribly offended by such actions.
- Ask her boss if she can help her about this.

I added that if nothing is done about it and the two bastards keep on with their advances, I am going to confront them about it.

My question is, should I just go there and confront them already, or lay back for a while?

Ah, I can't wait to kick them sons of.... ^_^

* Love = girlfriend, I just dislike calling her a girlfriend.

@Mugg

I'm sorry but I think you misunderstand me.

I am enraged NOT because someone's advancing towards her (LOL) but BECAUSE some idiotic nuisance are making her feel uncomfortable at work. She wouldn't complain to me if she could handle it herself, she's a babyish 19 year old really.

I'm just trying to take care of my baby, that's all. There have been several other advances besides this since the start of the OJT. I just thought she and I should start doing something about it.

No...do nothing. Your advice to her was perfect, but anything beyond that and you risk your and her reputation in the company. They do sound like complete jerks, but once she reports it--the wheel should start to turn.

he's for sure a nasty gamestop worker yet you are able to't continually discover the finest of human beings operating everywhere. And no Gamestop workers do no longer receives a fee fee in the adventure that they did they'd be wealthy. I also imagine your a hypocrite. in case you hate a lot that a guy tried to communicate an elderly human being into determining to purchase something she didn't want(i'd not techniques getting a flow from my grandma) yet you're just about doing a similar element through abusing the used sport coverage? re-evaluate your stance on the total difficulty. and end being inexpensive and purchase the damn sport. in case you call your self a gamer. You sir disgust me.

DON'T get directly involved, she will hold it against you at some point. You need to let her handle it through the proper channels.
What these guys are doing could have serious consequences. Sexual harassment is not only illegal, it is greatly frowned upon [and rightly so] in most companies.

She's a grown woman, let her handle it herself. If you go there or even do something to coworkers later, you will ruin her career.
Besides, you sound incredibly immature and insecure being "enraged" that other males are interested in your girlfriend. If she truly is yours, then she can dismiss their advances.

OK--gotcha.

I think you need to trust her to take care of it--EVEN IF she is babyish (know JUST what you mean).

It MAY make her mature a little, ya know what I mean?
Yes, she needs to at least report it, so that if something comes from it LATER), they will KNOW at least something was SAID.
I think SHE, HERSELF needs to write down what she tells the boss, just in case he lets it go--AND the date , AND the time, AND who she talked to.

You don't KNOW people these days,.........the boss or the jerks you work with (oops, is that a faux pas?)

Tell her to stand up for herself to these boys. She should tell them that her mobile number is only given to family and friends and since they are neither they will not get it. She should tell them that she has a boyfriend, she is not looking for a new one, and if they do not keep their hands to themselves, she will report them to the boss.

Before going to a supervisor, your girlfriend should tell the would-be-romeos that she is not interested in their advances. Then, if they keep it up, she can go to the boss.

so they asked for her phone number, said she was pretty, and tried to shake hands with her?

Are expecting to send them to prison or something?

If they are saying rude things, bring a tape recorder.

If they actually do grab her butt or something, and she has been clear she doesn't lik ethat, then you can punch them, lightly, just once.
