First I say let's all agree to respect each other's religious or non-religious affiliations whether we agree with them or not. Everyone is entitled ro an opinion and as long as they are not shoving it down anyone's throat, I can respect that. Then I say we should focus our energies on feeding the hungry and building homes for the homeless instead of spending money lobbying for gay rights or other things which really are up to the individual. If you dislike homosexuality...fine, but you have to realize that not everyone agrees with you on that and life is too short to get hung up on what other people are doing in the privacy of their own homes. That would do for starters.
Oh, and you did not say anything about this being realistic to attain....so all bets are off on what answers you might get elsewhere.

I allready have. I am active in my community, I teach my kids tolerance of faith and sexual orientation. I gladly defend those I can, I speak for those who have no voice. In my degree field I am hoping to help shelters in my spare time. It won't do much, but if we all did as much the world would be a much nicer place. :)

Respect the opinions of others and listen.....use less put downs.....admit that none of us have all the answers and that for things to get better we have to work on it together....education is important......education is not just taking in what you believe in and going from there.....it is learning what you can from every situations and incorporating the new to develop better ways....

I do NOT read the papers--they are depressing. ONE man's comment in the newspaper makes the world think it's THAT WAY--when it is only ONE opinion.
The world is needing to go back to Christ--start at the cross, asking for forgiveness of sins--and the LOVE pours down from Heaven.
And PRAYER is EVERYthing.
THAT is the way I see it!
