My auntie snores loudly. She's going on a ten-hour plane trip which is during the day and she's scared to fall asleep because she'll end up snoring. I don't think she should not be able to sleep simply because she snores so I'd like solve her problem for her. What kind of tips or advice should I give her?

Elle b .... you are reported!!!

Try the breathe right strips like the first guy said. They are AWESOME! Get the ones with the Vicks in them, they work even better. (My husband says he hardly hears me snore when I use those)
They also have some kind of spray stuff that is supposed to stop snoring. I haven't tried that though.

most ppl do not snore when sitting up like in an air plane.if she snores really loud as u state she could be suffering from sleepapnoe, have her bring that up to her dr so they can do a sleepstudy. a lot of ppl that snore stop breathing in their sleep, for a few seconds, and the really loud snoring is the sound when they start to breathe again..............good luck

Breathe right nose strips do not always work. Trust me I've tried the nose strips, the no snore spray, etc.

Her best bet would be to talk to a doctor.

If she is overweight, losing weight would help with the snoring too. Our DOCTOR told us this.

The Breathe Right Strips should help. She probably needs to lose some weight. A fat neck causes snoring.

maybe get her those breathe right nose strips. (they come in clear tone) and hopefully they will help. in the case she does fall asleep get her to ask a flight attendant to wake her if she starts snoring.

Why don't you ask your auntie to go to see a doctor? I think she has something wrong with her Esophagus or thorat! it is likely she has breathing problem.
