I thank God for one more day to see my family doing fine.
I thank Him for one more chance to help change this evil world that we live in.

There are so many things to thank God (or Goddess in my case) for:
I am alive.
I have wonderful friends and family.
I have a job that pays the bills and also that I can complain about (yes, it is a freedom that one can complain about their jobs when there are so many people who are unemployed).
I have a new man in my life - we'll see where that one goes.
I am reasonably healthy.
I'm not perfect, nor would I want to be.
I can laugh at myself, and do, often.
There is always something to learn.
I am a work in progress.
I am also thankful that I am part of this forum. It gives great insight to myself and others.

I am thankful for the very life I live, for my struggles because they make me stronger, for my good times because I love to smile. I am thankful for my gorgeous children, husband and my entire family. I am thankful my mom survived her breast cancer and is now graduating college!!!!
I am thankful that wherever I walk in this life I do not walk alone. I am thankful that I have had a personal experience with the Lord and that He guides me through each day. I am thankful for the blood of Jesus Christ, the only sacrifice that was needed to save us all.
I am thankful that I am the child of a King.

I thank God for:
...the gift of life
...the love of family and friends
...the many opportunities for loving and serving Him and others
...the mission He created me for
...the talents He bestowed upon me to bless the world
...the beauty of nature, the wonder of science, the marvels of
the unknown
...the wonderful past, the amazing present and the bright future awaiting me and those whom I love
...the problems that have made me strong
...my strengths that made me contribute substantially to this world, the weaknesses that keep me humble
...in a word, His love and all that represents.

My dad will be 55 on May 3rd and I thank god for that because his biological father (my grandpa) died when he was only around 37 years old and my dad was only 4 years old. I thank God that my dad didn't pass away at the same age because I was only 7.

I thank God that I am not recieving my just punishment. I deserve death and eternal torture, yet He granted me Grace and Mercy. I thank God that He has sent His spirit to work through me, for without the Spirit, I am totally carnal and sinful. I thank God for showing me my heart... that I am a murdering, lying, theiving, rapist... but for the Grace of God, I would be hopeless. And finally, I thank God for not having to wake up today and manage to steal $100 of heroin money just to make it through the day. Praise Him... not only because He requires it, but because HE IS WORTHY!
