Jesus descended from Abraham who migrated from what is today modern day Turkey.
He was raised in the culture of Israelites who referred to themselves as Jewish. While most believe Jew is an ethnic heritage it is actually more of a system of belief referenced to the time when Jehovah established his wisdom in the tribe of Judah, thus the term Jew.

Good question.
Even the earliest pictures of Jesus painted him with Caucasian (including blond/brown hair and fair features) which is extremely strange, considering such an ethnic identity was outside of the cultural norms of the ancient world- especially the ethnic mixes of Jews, and Eastern Europeans of the time.
I'm sure there will be scholars who quote someone to dispute this, but the evidence is pretty overwhelming.
The second interesting clue is that Jesus was supposed to be of the House of David- (the ancient Kings of Jerusalem). For those Christians who don;t understand this- by Jewish law, you can't be called a legitimate messiah unless you come from the bloodline of the ancient Kings- all of whom were known as Messiah's.
There is a problem however. The last legitimate King of Jerusalem was Zedekiah, killed along will all but one of his family by the Persians around 590 BCE. The only survivor was Princess Tamar Tephi who was saved by no less than Jeremiah and taken to the oldest priest kings of human history- the Cuilleain (The Divine Holly (Holy) Ones) of Ireland around 585 BCE with the royal standard (Lion of Jerusalem), the Stone of Destiny upon all Kings since David had been anointed, the sword of Solomon (Excalibur), the harp of David.
Incredibly we see these symbols remain prominent in the royal symbols of England today.

He was a Jew from Nazareth, a town in the then Northern Kingdom of Judah. The Nazarenes were considered to be an uncouth tribe amongst the Israelites.

He was Hebrew. Judaism, the Jewish religion, is as I said a religion. Ethnic background refers to the culture or nationality. A religion is different.

Both his father and mother were Jewish/Hebrew. Jesus was raised a Jew and practiced that culture and faith. He spoke Hebrew in the temple, but the common day to day speech of his time was Aramaic.

According to history, he is a Jew. He is from one Jew's sect that use the Aramic Language.
Do you know that Islam teaches its followers to love Jesus (In Arabic, his name is Isa) even though Jesus is Jew.
