Hi, yesterday a girl proposed to me and I said that we could be good friends. She was heart broken. I also like her but was not prerpared for any such situation, although I do think that it's not going to last for long as she would leave the city soon. Any way, today, she said sorry to me! It was my turn to be heart broken. Should I follow her for some time or should I forget all this?

Do reply.

Thanks.

Unless you feel like a romance could come from this, I would forget about it. She obviously has strong feelings for you. If you were to follow her just because you wanna be a nice guy or wanna be her friend, you may only be misleading her. See, girls analyze everything. She may take that and make it out to be that you are following her because you have feelings for her. She may continue hoping for a chance to be with you. So unless there is that chance, I'd leave it alone.

Forget it! Sorry dude but 'Geez' you need some perspective in life! if thats the worst thing in your now? Some girl you dont like, proposing? Be flattered! While you're at it switch over to the hospitals in Lebanon where people have lost limbs and have open stomach wounds (with limited or no aenasthetic).. go to africa and get your genitals cut off (with no aenasthetic) Or pretend to be my friend john that got run over by a train and 'very luckily' for him has only lost ONE leg - and not his life!..he was blessed with morphine.........lifes good.... you'redoing just fine..please forget the trivial stuff & just make the most of it.

Not enough information! I don't understand why you're heart broken because she apologized. Anyway, just talk to her and tell her why you turned her down, about her leaving the city, etc.

u said a girl proposed to you as opposed to my girlfriend.
so in that case you were right in saying no.
i would need more info to give you better advice though.
also remember to go back and reread the question before posting to make sure it is easily understandable
good luck though

Always go with your first instninct. Let her go, if she comes back and you feel like it's a relationship you want to start over go for it................but, if she's asking you? Hum, I don't know, I've always waited to be asked............I'm a little old fashioned and I've learned that men are simple creatures but are in charge of taking care of us so..................this ones hard. If you set it free and it doesn't come back it wasn't meant to be, but if you set it free and it returns to you then it is yours for life. Go with your gut..............all I can say good luck

think long term..dont think short term...

although many ppl may think of the "romantic" choice which is to go for her, you should not.
it is unfair to both u n her. BE AN ADULT.

if all you want is to be friends with her, and i don't mean friends with benefits, then continue to be her friend. if you're not ready for marriage then why lead her on? let her get on with her life.
