Yes, there certainly are! Obviously there is a lack of critical thinking going on in the world. There is a sort of blindness/stupidity that falls over people when it comes to religion.

If you believe in Moses as a prophet, then believe in the book of Genesis because he wrote that. The bible is a collection of books compiled together because they themselves justify the existence of one another.

e.g.

Gen 3:1 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?

If you would think about this verse, there was a serpent who can speak and had literally asked Eve what God had commanded. If this was an ordinary serpent, then why is it we cannot see any single serpent who can speak like this one. Certainly this is not an ordinary serpent since he knows what God had commanded for both Adam and Eve.

So who is this serpent anyway?

Rev 12:9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

From the first book, Genesis, we have found out who the serpent was in Revelations, which was the last book in the Bible. He was the Devil or Satan.

As you can see, each and every book in the Bible justifies the authenticity of the other books as we have clearly noticed here.

Why of course people still believe the stories. Why would years pasted by make them no longer be true ? The stories are as true today as the day they happened and some people not only believe the stories they live by every word.

Despite all scientific evidence to the contrary, yes there are. That's why it is called "faith" -- you believe in what you want to without requiring any evidence and you give yourself permission to ignore all evidence and facts to the contrary.

And it's OK. My experience is that most who believe this also believe in their scriptures that prescribe an ethical and moral life. As long as they cause no suffering to others, we should meet them on the higher ground of our common interests in establishing peace on Earth for all sentient beings.

You bet ya, and I am one.

It is the Word of God.

Many consider it fantasy because they do not understand. They do not understand the depth of God's Word and only read the text like a novel.

Another point, understanding the beginning is essential to understanding most of the Bible. Yet some who are blind or blinded by the world are not aware of the many truths, wisdom, and knowledge contained in God's Word.

It is much, much deeper than just text and I learn something new every time I study it.
