Is there a limit to the number of teeth I could have removed during one visit? I would like to have what teeth I have left removed so that I can be fitted for full dentures.

I'm not a dentist but when I had mine removed (also for dentures) He removed 12 in one sitting. I was so glad not to have to drag it out. I also let my mouth heal before being fitted. Its a pain to go without teeth for a few weeks but they fit very snug and comfortably.

I'm also not a dentist but I had some teeth removed about a year ago and the dentist told me that he wouldn't take any more than two at a time because it causes too much trauma to the mouth. Your mouth heals slower than anywhere else on your body. Hope this helps.

I have removed as many as 20 in one appointment. This is only done when the teeth cannot be saved. Re-think your decision if feasable. Full dentures are NOT fun.
