Faith is trust in what your religious leaders have told you is true. A dangerous thing to do.

Hope is trust in the future, that things will get better. An important thing, because without hope, it is hard to get out of bed.

Is everything about religion a myth? No not really. In fact the reasons, the motives why we find so much contradiction in christianity for example is very simple- because the people who founded it wanted it to be that way.

Jesus didn't found christianity- he founded the Nazarenes- the gnostics

It was Paul of Tarsus and the High Priests, the arch-enemies of Jesus and the apostles who founded christianity to deliberately stop his message and cash in on the wave of support around the ancient world.

Everything has a reason, even religion.

I think we all have faith because the Bible teaches that "God has given to man the measure of faith." Our level of faith is up to us. Scripture teaches that "faith comes by hearing the Word of God." That means we simply read the Word, listen to the Word whether it be on audio, video, or by some anointed man/woman of God.

Hebrews 11:6 says that "without faith, you cannot please God."

Faith is not a myth. It is real, very real.
