i want a tattoo on the back of my neck... how badly does it hurt.....no lectures please.... i already have 3 tattoos

I have a tattoo on the back of my neck it's only about two or three insches across and down it of the leo sign and id didn't hurt that bad it just felt like a bee stinging me.

It depends how hairy you are. I've got moderate chest hair covering my chest and belly and have had it waxed. The first time it did really hurt, the worst areas are the ones you just described. If she's good at waxing it won't be so bad. I'd also shave your chest with clippers so the hairs are about 1cm long. Long hairs hurt more when waxed. Don't have a hot shower until the following day, luke warm after the waxing. And don't apply any chemicals to your skin. For the first time you'll be sore for about 2 days but the pain isn't that bad, the belt line will irritate a bit.

ah yes the neck hurts far worse than the back, arm, etc. like most other tattoos it'll stop hurting after a couple minutes ( as you know) so it's not unbearable

I think it would hurt more than the one I have on my ancle. The neck is a sensitive spot and has very little fatty tissue. I bet it hurts quite a bit!!
If you want one there then good luck...and bring a friend to hold your hand!

I had the top part of my back done right up to the collar and it was 'ok'. I suspect you have your tattoo-sense telling you that it is going to kill and you may be right...but when I was having that area worked on it was totally bearable. You may experience a few nights of awkward sleep.

Its pretty much the exact same pain as you have felt the worst places are your most sensitive for instance the soles of your feet,on your palms your sternum is very sore your privates prob.Enjoy the pain want it love it and the buzz might just catch you the way it caught me just sit back relax and enjoy good luck.

i have 13. the one on my neck was the absolute worst. not sure i would have gotten another one if it had been my first one. my daughter says the one on her neck wasn't any different than her other ones. on a good note, neck tattoos are usually small.

The pain IS bearable....more like a bee sting. My mate has tattoo's all over including the back of his skull which I would have thought VERY painful. So I'm sure you'll be fine!...........GOOD LUCK

i have one on the bottom of my back, they say that is one of the most painful areas but i didn't feel a thing, so no it doesn't hurt only tickles and if you already have three then you have nothing to worry about
