I have only ever remained friends with two of my exes over the years. It's not an easy thing to do, especially if you parted on bad terms. And in my experience, it's a mutual decision to cut ties.

I can't speak for all women, but it's hard to "remain friendly" with my exes because one of us will likely try to get the other back. There's more reasons, but I think that we both would get over the relationship more quickly if we are not in contact.

if you dont have a gud relationship with your boy/girlfriend...there are a big possibility that both of you will not be friends again its bcoz maybe when both of you are still in a relatinship you dont talk that much like..when both of you have to separate ways...what will happen? are we going to be friends or not....those question must be ask...you really have to communicate with your partner...b coz if both of you lack in that aspect you dont know each other there is an awkward feeling being friend with your ex esp you dont know each other that well..

Usually because they are exes for a reason and they have nothing to enrich your life by keeping in touch.

wel,so to say, first, the temptation to go back to him will always lure us back. second, our current boyfrenz wil want to know why we are keepin contact, ie. they myt think that we still lyk the ex.and lastly, its easier to get over some1 if u dont keep contact!!and worst of all, we dont like havin a couple of goons after us even wen we've told them to keep of.
