Why don't you ask God that one? Is there really any point in trying to figure out who is and is not a true Christian? I need to ask that question of myself, "Am I being true to Christ?"
But to quote Jesus: "By their fruits ye shall know them." Going by that basis, true Christians are found in every faith on earth, including atheism. Are you bringing forth the fruits that spring from the teachings and life of Christ?

The true Christians are the ones that get flamed the most because they aren't the politically correct, wishy-washy folks who love people into Hell by telling them that they can sin all they want and still go to Heaven if they half-heartedly apologize to God once in a while and then go on living in sin. People tend to assume that just because times have changed since the Bible was written that God's expectations of us have also changed, but they haven't.

John 13:35 "By this all will know that YOU are my disciples, if YOU have love among yourselves.”"
So the answer is the ones that have love for each other, and they dont kill each other or hate one another.
You pick them up by that scripture.
