Can I use my mobile phone's memory for storing files (word, excel) for easy transport?

If so, I can use my phone like a USB storage device.

Hey there...

If your phone has a connection cable/blue tooth or IR then you will be able to transfer normal data to your phone memory.
Usually there is a phone suite that came with your phone. It will have the software to browse your phone memory or even your ad-on chip if your phone uses one. The same way that you will transfer a mp3 file to your phone. It might tell you that the format is not supported but it will store it.
Just make sure that your phone has enough memory.

I use to use my phone as data drive while I was studying. I just installed the suite on both the pc from where I wanted to transfer information.

Not all phones work the same as a usb flash disk. Some have special drivers in the software suite to help with the connection.

Hope this helped.
