"There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus" (Galatians 3:28)

the woman was made of a rib out of the side of adam; not made out of his head to rule over him, nor out of his feet to be trampled upon by him, but out of his side to be equal with him, under his arm to be protected, and near his heart to be beloved.

not true!

the bible states that we are complements to each other.

Paul also states that married couples belong to each other. Christian men are commanded to love their wifes and give them special honor.

The Bible contains a whole chapter praising women -- this it doesn't have for men!

Proverbs 31:10-31 A capable wife who can find? Her value is far more than that of corals. ? [Behth] 11 In her the heart of her owner has put trust, and there is no gain lacking. ? . . .

Look the rest up if you're interested.

A woman was created for man. It does say in the Bible that men are to love their wives as Christ loves the church and for women to submit themselves to their husbands. What that doesn't say however, is that man can abuse that or a woman can either.

Women are set in the order of this:
1 Corinthians 11:3
Now I want you to realize that the head of every man is Christ, and the head of the woman is man, and the head of Christ is God.

So it behooves you to pick a good man. Pick a good man.

I assume that there is something like that in there.

There were no female writers in the Bible - it's a bit one sided on the advice front.

The first woman, Eve, was created to be a 'helper' to Adam, and in return he was to love and cherish her and treat her with gentleness.
NOT to be abusive or to just 'use' her for his own gratification.
(Ephesians 5:25) Husbands, continue loving YOUR wives, just as the Christ also loved the congregation and delivered up himself for it,

(Colossians 3:19) YOU husbands, keep on loving [your] wives and do not be bitterly angry with them.

Where can i get me one of these 'help meet' s, my steaks are normally so lazy...

Seriously though, whilst women might not have been *created* to please men, they certainly do, so that's good enough for me.
