Well it is doubtful to be as simple as describing it as a product of cultural traditions since in religious nations, cultural traditions are based heavily on religious teachings.

It is also not that certain groups have a faith that is more relevant, it is simply the religion that is dominant in that part of the world. There are all kinds of historical reasons at play here. For example, Christianity is popular in the US because it was exposed to Christianity when European settlers moved there in the 16th century and since.

The jewish religion sees a person as jewish if their mother is jewish, but not jewish if their mother is not jewish and their father is jewish. 5.) Nationality: The religion operates around the idea of a "jewish nation."

There are large populations of nearly any faith in the US. It's because we don't kill people for being other religions. I think that's cool about us. On the other hand, the Islamic countries kill Christians. So they might have large populations of Christians and Hindus, and whatever else, but you wont see them worship freely.
