There are several names for God, but the most common in Hebrew is YHWH. With no vowels, this could be said any number of ways. The most common (in English) is Yaweh. This is not so far from Allah. In Greek, Yaweh is Jehovah, which is used by some people. Jesus is the Greek from of Yeshua. Isa is a lot closer to this than Jesus! A better transliteration in English would be the name Joshua, but, as the New Testament was written in Greek, and the original Bible translators did not translate names, we are stuck with Jesus, rightly or wrongly. I'm not sure how anyone could say Allah is a made up name. Just YHWH, but said in Arabic. Same with Isa. Isa and Joshua are different, but both come from Yeshua.

Yes we call God "Allah"....
..."Allah"... is not a word Muslims came up with, it had been there for hundreds of years before Islam....
... Same thing in other languages... God in French is "Dieu"... God in Italan is "Thios" and so on...
so to a us as Christians we know "Allah" is the Father, the Son and The Holly Spirit. Amen

Yes they use the name Allah-and the key to salvation is the same for them and the Moslem =and they key to life is the true path -a person who believes Jesus recieves salvation and a new life with the power of God to live it- In this there is no problem believing a person is changed from within and forgiven of sin. Isalm is told to believe the words of Moses, Isaiah, & Messiah Jesus some do many do not=I happen to be Jewish-yet I believe the Holy Bible and the Messiah Jesus closed it after announcing salvation by repenting of sin and asking him in to be our friend-that he was closing the book and if anyone tried to add to it they would have a plague-thus it can not be improved-it is complete Revelation 1:1, 3:19&20 & chapter 22 the last book in the bible.
a proof that the bible is not tampered with which some claim--is that the Jewish people who use their Jewish scriptures still did not change their Scriptures to take out Jesus- "Unto us a child will be born, a Son given, and he will be almighty God, and the prince of peace." Isaiah 9:6
the other part of this is if you reject Moses commanded by God need for a blood atonement for sins-your not a muslim who believes the prophets
Moses stated "The life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it upon the altar to make atonement for your souls." Leviticus 17:11
and fulfilled in the promised one of Isaiah = "He will be exalted and made very high. He will be marred more than any man. He will sprinkle many nations. He will be despised and rejected. All we like sheep have gone astray and the Lord will make to light on Him the iniquity of us all. He will lay down his life to make atonement for our sins. Isaiah 52:13-53:12
NO atonement =not a Christian or a muslim-but you can still claim to be of any religion
