Yes the christian church can survive its challenges. Will it? Time will tell. The church has been adapting to its surroundings from the get go.
The greatest enemy of the church? The church.
Incompetent allies can be some of the most difficult enemies.

Namaskar! let me make it clear that the founder of christanity was JESUS-a angel sent from heaven. We do believe that god dosen't make any diffrences then sorry to say but why did he send an an angel to form another religion as there are less religions ruling? I don't believe in those religions and all that ya but i do surely believe in god only god not -jesus,shankar,allah.Why do people tag up a standard of GOD to a person who does a lot for humanity.Besides he must be inspired by others but not he must be worshipped as GOD.India is a secular countary -UNITY IN DIVERSITY.But what's the unique situation riots between hindus &muslims or i say in the 21st centuary language roiots between india & pakistan. To save the earth & human race is in the hands of 21st centuary youngsters. The real & true riot is between MAN & WOMAN still in india many females are unfortunate to educate themselves. As the real power is in the hands of women. Oh ! so far -but that's the truth. Can u tell me why has terrorism taken out it's ugly heads because few say i'm christain few say i'm muslim while the others say i'm hindu the diffrences between the human race itself has given rise to terrorism. If the citizens of whole worid would have remain united that would not have happened. They say the terrorist thrive in pakistan that means muslims are endangering the world.i say the diffrences within the human race has given rise to terrorists. The greatest threat to chistain church is terrorism. When it comes to ur answer christain church can no more survive in and through the 21st centuary and beyond not only church but all other religions also, if terrorism is not sweeped out that means diffrences between human race has to vanish. The greatest enemy of christain church & all other worship places is TERRORISM.

All religions die out eventually, it is part of the cycle of all cultural phenomenom. What is the greatest enemy of the Christian church? I'd say it comes from the wishy-washy "I kinda beleive but don't go to church" crowd rather than anywhere else. If religion is to survive in an age of reason and science then it must have vehement, unwavering suport from its members and the ability to choke off facts that don't support their views

i'm an atheist, and that i'm getting your element, besides the indisputable fact that the point you're making is that the 16th century Christians would not entertain the different concepts. the following, immediately, lets make the argument that you're being the 16 century Christian, and that cutting-edge day Christianity and different religions are your heliocentrism. You and that i both might want to be considered to blame for not allowing yet another theory in to confirm any probability of it being real. See, it really is how they do it, the same way you an I do. we assume of we favor to coach, yet everyone needs to study. search for first to understand, then to be understood.

The TRUE religion, with Jesus in heaven as its leader,
(Daniel 2:44) “And in the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be brought to ruin. And the kingdom itself will not be passed on to any other people. It will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, and it itself will stand to times indefinite; this is the Kingdom we p[ray for when we say the Lord's Prayer..Matthew 6; 9,10.
All other religions, classified in the Bible as Babylon the Great, will be destroyed.
Not by God, but by the governments of the world.
The Bible warns people to ' get out of her'
(Revelation 18:4-5) And I heard another voice out of heaven say: “Get out of her, my people, if YOU do not want to share with her in her sins, and if YOU do not want to receive part of her plagues. 5 For her sins have massed together clear up to heaven, and God has called her acts of injustice to mind.
Most churches have not complied with Matthew 28; 19,20
This cannot be achieved with JUST the efforts of the religious leaders.
It requires the efforts of everyone..
And only ONE Christian group is meeting that challenge.

They have been trying to destroy the bible and the church since they started. China and Russia to name a few have tried to wipe us out completely only to have revivals happen especially in China. Millions have become Christians dispite all efforts otherwise. Like Jesus said - The gates of hell will not prevail.

Judging by the answers is continually see in R&S from avid christians, I have my doubts.
Blind faith and growing fanaticism is not going to stop the increasing tide of doubt and loss of credibility of general christianity- especially Catholicism.
However, if I look to contemporary authors, moderate preachers and the wave of new evangelical movements- beyond just money machines, I am optimistic that christianity will shrug off the legacy of Paul of Tarsus and embrace the deeper message of Jesus and his story. Only time will tell.

The church will be here a lot longer then this society will. The Church has been under spiritual attack from the moment GOD created Adam and Eve.
