Cons & pro's. Be prepared for the warm weather, work on your tan before arriving, otherwise you'll stick out like dogs b---s, Aussies always take the mickey out of poms buts it's always in jest, so develope thick skin, dont be too trusting of the locals but dont be too supicious either, Plenty of work opportunities and good pay, cheap accomadation everywhere, most of us speak pretty good English, Shonky cab drivers, try to catch buse's & trains, normaly clean & reliable, oh, and Charlotte and Jason dont live in Ramsey street any more.

I think australia is okay if you like open space and warm weather, but many people who emigrate regret it, not a lot of people are actually happy with the decision to live abroad, and that's any country. Some people find it suits them but a large majority come home again because having a holiday is very different to living in a place. Often people who emigrate have high expectations of what life will be like, and are very let down when they find out the reality. Personally I think its great to go anywhere in the world to travel, but home is always your own country where your roots are and that's the best place to stay.
