I think due to lately i have been doing alot of 'house' and toprock and maybe jumping i can feel occasional pain near my nerve or bone (the ropey like thing) at the back of my left knee when i walk.
Is it because i didn't warm up enough? Is it serious?
Could Anyone tell me what i can do to make it go away?

Stop jumping so often. Sounds as if the joints are coming under strain and you could end up with serious problems in later life. Rest is the best cure.

This "ropey like thing" is your Achilles tendon and it sounds like you pulled/strained it. It isn't serious, yet. Re-injuring tendons can become serious though. Stretching really is the key to keeping your tendons healthy. There are a few things you can do now to help it heal and to prevent re-injury. 1) Wear over the counter heel cups. You can find them at WalMart and any drug store near the other shoe inserts. They slip into your shoe and cradle your heel. It sounds silly but it really helps. 2) Do tendon stretching exercises. Some include: Push your heel down while pointing your toes upward, extend the leg gently. Stand near wall, put feet flat on floor, lean forward and do controlled push-offs from wall. While standing, slowly raise-up onto tip-toes and then back down, repeat. 3) Don't forget to take your vitamins. Tendons, bones, and muscles are all attached to each other. Keep them all strong and healthy. Regular over the counter multi-vitamins can help supplement even a poor diet, and some studies have suggested that people who take them may heal quicker than those who don't.

let me ask you something...
how long hav u done any exercise?
hav u been to any sports or activities recently?
when did u jog for the last time?
the main cause of the pain is lack of exercise..
am not an expert or a doctor to comment..
but as far as i know from reading the pain near knee is because your thigh muscles and calf muscles are weak.
muscles of the leg are strongest cos they carry the entire weight of the body..
due to lack of work out ur muscles became weak..
there are a few nerves passing through between the knee bones. as the muscles became weak the gap between the bones get less and the nerves are crushed.that may be reason of ur pain.no need to worry about that just do some exercises regularly so that the muscles regain strenght and u wont feel any pain.
keep some 30 min for your knee for a month..u be fine
but i suggest its better not to stop ur exercises..go to this link for some exercise tips..http://www.bigkneepain.com/knee-exercises.html
