hmm seems pretty obvious, the modest, conservative society has been disappearing since the 1950's
And every woman who prays or prophesies with her head uncovered dishonors her head—it is just as though her head were shaved. 6If a woman does not cover her head, she should have her hair cut off; and if it is a disgrace for a woman to have her hair cut or shaved off, she should cover her head. 7A man ought not to cover his head,[a] since he is the image and glory of God; but the woman is the glory of man. 8For man did not come from woman, but woman from man; 9neither was man created for woman, but woman for man. 10For this reason, and because of the angels, the woman ought to have a sign of authority on her head.
11In the Lord, however, woman is not independent of man, nor is man independent of woman. 12For as woman came from man, so also man is born of woman. But everything comes from God. 13Judge for yourselves: Is it proper for a woman to pray to God with her head uncovered? 14Does not the very nature of things teach you that if a man has long hair, it is a disgrace to him, 15but that if a woman has long hair, it is her glory? For long hair is given to her as a covering.
I wondered to my self If I went to a church and took peoples pictures, and then went and asked them to read that chapter how many people's hypocrisy would be exposed?
Rather if you look at nuns, then a Muslim women, then they look the same!
I believe that God has allowed me to be born in the United States, to know english and learn the Qu'ran, to be an ambassador of Islam, to teach people, and forward the message of the God's last messenger Muhammad peace be upon him.
I condemn terrorists, criminals, and extremists of all religions.

Actually, that passage says that a woman's hair should be her covering, and that she should not shave her head, or cut her hair really short. Basically, that's making the law that a woman had to wear a veil or some other head covering obsolete.
My hair is long, and it is my covering. That's all I need.
As for clothing, it says in the Bible that a Christian woman should be modest. Some aren't. That's their choice. I'm not going to judge them. However, I'm one of those Christian women that is careful about what I wear in public. I don't ever expose a lot of cleavage, and I very rarely wear tank tops. Most of my shirts are short-sleeved, and just reveal a little bit below my neckline. And I NEVER wear super short skirts. All of mine hit at least at my knees, if not longer. I don't wear shorts, either. Capris are as short as my pants ever are.
Around the house though, I'll wear just about anything. If I want to sit around naked, it's no one's business but mine and my husband's.
By the way, MOST Christian women I know dress very modestly, though they're not covered from head to toe.
I don't bash Muslims for what they wear or don't wear. However, I don't think it's right for there to be laws, imposed by the government, on what a person should or should not wear.

I do, I am a born again Bible believing Christian and I wear very long modest Mennonite cape dresses and also modest long skirts and modest shirts, and I also wear my hair up and wear a veil covering like the Mennonites and Amish. I only wear my cape dresses at Bible study and prayer service, and the same for the head covering, but the rest of the time I wear the other attire I mentioned. I only wear jeans if I absolutely have to, like when I am helping someone move where a dress would get in the way. I like to dress the way God wants me to dress and this would be very feminine and in modest dresses and skirts. I love the look of the 1800's pioneer dresses, and the Amish dresses.

answer: This assertion is fake as there are contemporary-day worshipers of the Greek and Roman Gods. additionally Islam states that they persist with the God of Abraham, like the Jews do (whether they say that Mohammed is a later prophet than those recorded contained in the Jewish Scriptures). And Christians rather say that they worship the comparable God simply by fact the Jews, whether they do no longer renowned worshiping the comparable God as Muslims.

I don't think this will ever happen, because Christian America is fighting the Muslim world it will never see the right thing and will never change it's values. Personally I don't understand how they even call themselves Christians, I believe a true Christian as you said would cover her hair, wear descent clothes and keep away from adultery because that's in the Bible and Quran (they're both from God Almighty) but unfortunately the Bible is corrupted and so Christians are misguided.

The Bible was written by ancient people whose highest intelligence told them that the Earth was flat. Religion must keep up with changing times. Islam is stuck in the 11th century and many of it's women are made to walk down the street looking like a bundle of cloth because of the problem within the minds of men.

I believe we may return to a modest and more conservative society... but it is against our very nature to be like Islam.. I cant condone hard line Islams choice to make women property, to keep them uneducated, and treat them as non persons..we did have a time like that in our history called the elizabethan era ...

I surely hope not because I like seeing women in elegant clothing that show legs. I am not a breast man so women can cover them up if they like. Yes, it is all about me!

HA ! Muslims are the MOST violent religious sect in the world. Just turn on the news and you see the results every day. Car bomb here, car bomb there. The allied nations could pull out of the middle east and the fighting would increase ! Personally I hope we do and they thin themselves out until there aren't enough people left to for a viable society.
