I look at the way Christians pray, it is nowhere near as humble as the way Muslims pray. I am not Muslim but I see this.

Your right!!........ Christians don’t take their religion seriously, if you have a look in their bible its full of contradictions! However us Muslim try to be humble in everything not just our prayers, also in the way women dress and many other aspects!!! Thank you for pointing this out, I’m sure many people will agree with you!

This doesn't exactly answer the scope of your question, but in a way I kind of agree with you. For many Christians that I know it seems like they are more concerned with condemnation of sinners (gays, adulters, etc.) than they are with their own relationship with God. Muslims, in my experience, are more personally in sync with their religion and less worried about externalities. In this sense, I think that Muslims take "God" more seriously, whereas some Christians take "Christian doctrines" more seriously. Just an opinion, and is not meant to apply to all Christians.

Taking God seriously means believing God.
Isalm is told to believe the words of Moses, Isaiah, & Messiah Jesus some do many do not=I happen to be Jewish-yet I believe the Holy Bible and the Messiah Jesus closed it after announcing salvation by repenting of sin and asking him in to be our friend-that he was closing the book and if anyone tried to add to it they would have a plague-thus it can not be improved-it is complete Revelation 1:1, 3:19&20 & chapter 22 the last book in the bible.

the other part of this is if you reject Moses commanded by God need for a blood atonement for sins-your not a muslim unless you believe the prophets
Moses stated "The life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it upon the altar to make atonement for your souls." Leviticus 17:11

and fulfilled in the promised one of Isaiah = "He will be exalted and made very high. He will be marred more than any man. He will sprinkle many nations. He will be despised and rejected. All we like sheep have gone astray and the Lord will make to light on Him the iniquity of us all. He will lay down his life to make atonement for our sins. Isaiah 52:13-53:12

NO atonement =not a muslim-but you can still claim to be of any religion

Every one should follow and take there religion seriously, if u dont follow ur religion how then how will other can say wht religion you are from. As far as i think muslims people actually knows the truth, there beliefs and the there precalculations are coming 200% correct, we should lok at our religion and study the differences,as far my studies is concern i think i might convert to islam. no offense but for me religion should be something that is based on truth and reality. and wht we are going it concentrating on the things which are not reliable.

Thank you, to be a Muslim means "one who submits to the will of God"

Islam means "the submission to the will of God"

bowing and prostrating, are only physical movements, unless they are coupled with Taqwa which means "God-Consciousness" some people say "fear of God", but that is inaccurate.

That means when you prostrate yourself to God all-mighty, you must have remembrance of him in yourself.

It is said the highest level of devotion is those people who pray as if they see God, but the Prophet said if you cannot reach this level then know that God always sees you!

Peace be with you

No Christians take God very seriously. I think many Muslims under sharia law take enforcing outward rituals and rules upon people very seriously. However, I have spoken to some Muslims from those countries where they felt that they were oppressed and forced to act a certain religious way.

When you are doing something only to please overbearing authority, I don't take that as very serious. To do something from the heart because it is very much something YOU WANT TO DO. That is serious religion.

What difference does it make. The same thing happens. The 2004 Tsunami killed about 300 thousand people most who were Muslim and prayed 5 times a day. It made no difference but people are not supposed to realize that.

Anyone who believes that a being who is capable of creating the universe, not to mention knocking chicks up without having a corporeal body, and yes, for the Muslims, being depicted as a circle, rather than as some muscled-up sex god, gives a rats whether the midgets kneel or kiss the ground has far to big an opinion of themselves. (btw, if you're a disabled Muslim who can't kneel, can someone bring a handful of dirt up to you're mouth or something? Cause I would REALLY like to see Stephen Hawkings or someone like that get force fed dirt). Allah ak-NEIN!-bar

If you took away the suicide bombers and killings by a few minority of Muslims, then I would admire their religious faith. While I agree, the vast majority of Muslims do not wish harm on their fellow man, the few that do, make it look bad to the rest of the world. That being said, yes, the average Muslim does seem to hold greater value to their beliefs then the average Christain.
