Rastafarian? don't know much about it but I think reggae singer Bob Marley is/was a member.
You aren't hiding anything from God. Besides, God is bigger than the bowl.
But if your Mom is worried about the bud sucking the spirit out of you - that is a different story. Studies have shown that bud affects motivation, among other things.

It's a rasta thing! But also in some shaivite tantric schools of thought as a ritual in moderation. Many Sadhus wandering around India are always stoned, most pretend to be holy maybe a few are. But no tradition would recommend abuse of intoxicants as a sustainable path.

Many of the shamanistic religions, such as those of the Native Americans (from the arctic to the tip of South America,) Australian Aborigines and other tribal cultures, use it (or other herbs with a similar effect) in worship or in intercession ceremonies.
If you have an appropriate medical condition, your doctor might suggest (or even prescribe) it!

Buddhism encourage his follower to have a meaningful and ethical life including NO intoxicant as one of the five precept if ones would like to committed him/herself to a Buddhist.
Dear Fatty, as from your comments, is shown that you may not have sufficent knowledge about Buddhism, may be you would like to read more about Buddhim on the net which you can find tonnes of info from there, but please do not give fault info to others when they sincerely seek for it.
As you claimed that it was Buddha told you smoking is the way to Enligtenment while you meditated on Mt Everest, then with your 'Omniscient mind' whcih many of us don't have yet, is the best that you go out there to benefit sentient being instead be here to give fault info. I agree with Hello, After all he was a man who lived more than 2500 year ago, it really interest me how you can communicate with him through your meditation, may be you would like to share with us here how you do it?
may you be well and happy.
