I've been talking to this guy since Dec.06 and since Mar.07 he got a girlfriend.
We live on two different parts of town and we met once, but we only talk on the phone and on MySpace. I really feel like I'm falling for him and he knows that, but he has another girl plus more. I haven't talked to him for a week now, but the urge is getting to strong for me to resist.
He says he likes me and all, but I don't believe it.
How do I get over the strong feelings I have for him?

I know it's hard when you have feelings for someone but they don't feel the same. It sounds like maybe he's more into you as a friend and not a girlfriend. You said he has a girlfriend plus more?? It sounds like he could also be a player and if that's true, you don't need him!! You sound like a really nice girl and you deserve someone who is only into you and treats you with respect and love. You didn't say how old you are and this could also have something to do with the way he's acting. He maybe just isn't mature enough to know how to handle one sincere relationship or that there's a really great girl like you that likes him and that he is also hurting you. You said you haven't talked to him for about a week, but that the urge to call him is hard to resist. My best advice for you is to just wait and let him make the first move to call. That can be the hardest thing to do, but IF he does like you and IF he breaks it off with the other girl then you could feel good and know that he does care for you. It's usually best to appear hard to get than to just keep trying to call or write him. Give yourself and him some space and see what happens. God has a special someone just for you and when the time is right, he'll send this guy your way!! Good luck sweetie!!

It may not be the best way...but it works...make yourself HATE him...first of all think a lot about what a scumbag he must be if he is leading you on (when he knows how you feel) and telling you he likes you all while he is with some other girl! Think of how you would feel if you were her and you knew this info!
He is a controlling player.
Just think of every single little tiny thing that you hate about him and just keep telling yourself you hate him. Get mad at the thought of him.
Stop talking to him too. I know this part is hard...but think about it...he is obviously not THE ONE so why not get rid of him so you can concentrate on finding your REAL man?!

Get involved elsewhere. You could hang out w/ ur friends more, read a book, play sports, take walks, etc. Do something where u wouldn't even see his name or think of him. The best way to not give in to a temptation is to avoid any chance of being tempted in the first place. i.e. if u want to give up candy, don't look at it and don't walk through the candy aisle at the grocery store, etc.
Distract your mind from him, as i said before, w/ a hobby.

Go to My Space and anywhere else and get involved with as many new guys as you can find. Lose yourself in relationships, over the Internet. You'll find someone else really soon.

that is what i am going thru right now or i may say worse yesterday .. but now i decided thru the help of this page to get bust my self soi may forget him still his on my mind but try to think positively.. we can get over it!!! wish us luck.....we deserve more than this people..
